My package arrived!  The chocolate made it through photos, but not much longer...just in time for me to cram for Calc 2!

Thanks for the awesome package, Rosie1981!

2  Pricing help on batik in Get Product and Website Opinions by xTroublex on: May 20, 2012 04:18:23 PM
Hey there!  I made a few pieces of batik for donation, and I've been asked to include a price as a basis for a silent auction.  So I'd like some opinions, whether actually calculated or what you would pay.  Either would be helpful.

4 pk Flour Sack Towels (38 in x 32 in) - $9.99
4 pk Dylon - $11.96
2 bottles Elmers Glue - $1.98

And a close up of one of the lotus flowers

There are three more, in varying colors not yet washed.  They are all 38 in x 32 in and cotton.

Thanks for looking!

My package from Crazyda:

La Sierra shirt, Navel orange journal and some candy (not all of it made it home to be pictured >.> ) and a bumper sticker!  Thanks Crazyda!  Smiley

And I picked up a second partner halfway through.  So, from AprilInAutumn:

Close up of the logo on the shirt.

The necklace she made, a map of Orange and it has Cleveland St!

I'm a bad, bad partner *smacks hand*  Sorry Gr33nT3a!  The package was wonderful, I'm sorry I'm late posting photos :/

Swap goodness ahead...

Group shot.  The jewlery box says "Gold" and "Pearls", so cool!

A little closer.

And some close-ups.  My macro didn't like the low light, so they're a little blurry.  They give you an idea though.

The detail of the paper fan, and the Kwan Yin necklace.  I've done a bit of research on Kwan Yin since, very interesting!

Thank you so much!! Smiley

5  Re: I need new earrings! Swap -Gallery! in The Swap Gallery by xTroublex on: August 07, 2011 12:08:26 PM
Sorry about the delay in posting pictures.  My computer decided to act up and want me to format my camera's memory card.  o.0  So I had to hunt for the flash drive that fits said memory card.  Anyway... pictures!!

From Wizards_Pupil:

FOR THE HORDE!!  I squeed when I saw these, I don't remember putting WoW stuff on my Wist so I was really surprised!

Rainbows and books!  These are massive, and I love them!  Haha.

Origami cranes/crows!  /happydance

Neat doily-ish earrings.  These have created some inspiration XD

And from Krafty_Karasu:

Steampunk-ish.  Normally I'm not a fan of bronze/copper...but I feel for these as soon as I took them out of the box.  Oddly, though all the others are definitely more my 'style' I think these are my favorite from KK!

Red, silver and a smoky grey!  I love these, I need to assemble the perfect outfit for these!

My inner EE is very happy Smiley

I seem to only have an action shot of these.  I love them!  Love the emerald color and the silver diamond shape!  So elegant Smiley

And a few more action shots

Cute magnets so far!  Love the trees, they're a little teaser for me...my mind is racing now!  Smiley

Here's my package from Spidersweb.

All the loot.  She threw in some fabric.  I loves it!

I love them all!  I think the tree and the ladybug are my favorite.  The detail on the tree is just awesome!!

Thank you, Spidersweb Smiley

7  Re: Craft my favorite quote swap gallery in The Swap Gallery by xTroublex on: July 04, 2011 10:37:02 PM
Sorry for the delay in posting pictures!  Here's my loot from AnarachyCupcakes!  I'm so spoiled Smiley

Group shot

The purse/bag up close.
Sometimes you wake up. Sometimes the fall kills you. And sometimes, when you fall, you fly.
I love it!  I'm hesitant to use it as a purse just because I'm so rough on them and I want this to last!  To be honest, I just want to frame it  XD  Will probably be a craft bag instead.  I'm less rough on those!

"Wherever I wander, wherever I stray
Its a piece of me now that forever will stay
Its part of me heart that is locked away
And stays with you forever. "

This song always gets me.  The hearts are for my crafting pleasure.  This is great because I really wanted to start a jar filled with hearts!

Clove-orange bath salts and shaving lotion.  Mmmm so yummy!  I love it.

"To be happy with yourself, you've got to lose yourself now and again."

AC's personal vitamin tea blend!  I'm drinking it as we speak, it has a pleasant lemony taste!  I needed a pick me up after raiding tonight.  The necklace and tea go to the same quote.

Thousands of candles can be lit from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared.

There's also an amigurumi bunny, which didn't photograph well at all.  It's so adorable though!

Thank you so much, I loved everything!!

8  Re: Dia de los Muertos / Mexican Folk Art Swap GALLERY (send outs 5/30) in The Swap Gallery by xTroublex on: June 06, 2011 08:25:14 AM
I received from HootHootHope on Friday.  Here's the goodies.

All the loots Smiley

Mini-shrine.  I don't have a lot of room, so this is perfect and sparkly and skully!

A painting from Mexico.  I still can't figure out what the people on the pole are doing in the middle, but I love that every time I look at it I discover something new!

Close up of the pillow!  I love it, I was coveting one earlier in the swap and now I have my own!  Yay!  I love it all, thank you Hope!  Smiley

I love the fairy door!

Here's my haul from hawkeyes_girl.  She really spoiled me  Grin

Here's everything.  Knitted flower headband, three bars of castile soap, and the candle holder with candle.

A close-up of the detail on the candle holder Smiley

And the soap!

I can't pick a favorite, each time I do I look at everything else again.  Lol!  I can't wait to wear the headband this weekend at ritual!

10  A Day at the Beach in CHALLENGE 10 ENTRIES by xTroublex on: April 05, 2006 11:01:09 PM
Well, first off I'd like to say a quick hello.  This is my first post, and my first craft challenge.  yarn_tart got me here  Grin

I'm sorry to say, I don't really have any pictures of the construction process, it was done over a few days and I just didn't think to take pictures >.<  So, without further ado, my shoe fountain!

The idea actually started out when yarn_tart and I were at the thrift store looking for cheap yarn.  She mentioned the craft challenge to me and pointed out a pair of children's rain boots.  I said it'd be cool to do a fountain with them...being water and all.  When we went back, they weren't there, but I found a really cute pair of green kids flip-flops and that inspired this rendition of the fountain.  Many more pairs of flip flops were bought at wal-mart and kmart and other cheap places.  Then we disassembled a fountain we had, drilled some holes in a birdbath, filled it with water...layered the shoes and added some rocks and shells we had collected.
