5  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Get Product and Website Opinions / Re: professional looking? on: July 13, 2004 07:53:53 AM
I think that it is fair.  I  would definately change the links.  Looking professional is very hard, but you have to in order to succeed.
6  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / Re: Sewing Classes - How Much? on: June 05, 2004 08:53:22 AM
I think that's good. I took a class and it was 6 dollars for 50 dollars, but there were more people. Plus, your in Cali! I think that's a fair price.
7  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / Re: handmade vs. handsewn on: June 05, 2004 08:52:09 AM
That's what I consider hand made.  You are still making it, not some mass production machine in some facotory in Japan.
8  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: beginer on: June 01, 2004 05:47:05 AM
Take it from one who learned hard... corsets are better off being bought!  But if you want to try it out, I would definately get yoruself use to sewing   first.  Some good things to make first are: pillows, pj pants, skirts, tanks, summer dress (either halter, sleeveless or tank).  These things aren't too hard to make but will help you a lot. Corsets are just a pain in the butt so eneded up buying mine. Good luck tho!

Very cute! It's professional enough so that someone will buy from it but it's also not totally boring! I love the colors (and the name!)
10  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Re: cd lamp on: May 26, 2004 02:01:42 PM
That's really cute, but it would take like 150 CDs!
