Wow! It looks so comfy and the stripes and the bottom stitch pattern are super.
22  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Anna Socks from Rowan #40 on: October 26, 2006 06:06:24 AM
Those are so sexy! I've been trying to decide whether or not I will buy #40 and these pretty much seal the deal. I love them!
23  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: a Finished Forecast...with more pictures! on: October 21, 2006 04:20:37 PM
It looks great! I should be finishing mine any day now. I've done the same mods as you but for the single button. I LOVE buttons all the way up, but I think yours looks really cute with a single button too.

That looks so lovely and cushy!!! I made mine half the size it is supposed to be and I wish I had a big, cozy one like yours.
25  CANADA / Ontario / Re: Who Are You? on: October 15, 2006 07:38:25 AM
I'm Sue. I'm originally from New Brunswick but I just moved to Toronto from Victoria, BC.

I live in the Parkdale/West queen west junction and I go to the SnB at the Knit Cafe every tuesday night.

I'm going to go for sure. But I'm not sure who with - I'm new to Toronto, and my dude is starting to get a little tired of me dragging him to the yarn store and the fabric store and the button store. I'm really excited about this one though. I looked through the website and it looks amazing!

That's beautiful! The detail is what makes it really special.
28  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Laura from Rowan's Big It Up on: October 13, 2006 05:56:47 AM
Hi everyone! This is my second in a series of posts of everything I've finished in the last two months. I finished Laura from Rowan's Big It Up in September:

I misplaced the ball bands so I have no idea what the yarn is. I do know that I ended up knitting a size medium to accommodate the smaller gauge of the yarn - it was knit on 10 mm needles instead of 12. I'm really happy with the resulting fabric. It's sooooooo cosy!  For the full story, check out my blog.
29  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Fair Isle Mittens (and my return to Craftster) on: October 11, 2006 06:23:26 AM
Hey guys! I've been absent for a couple of months (I was sick of the internet for a while) but I finished a few things while I was gone. Check these babies out:

They're going to be a Christmas present for my mother-in-law-to-be. Details on my blog, of course. Thanks for looking!

Edit: Oops, sorry guys. I guess the Blogger picture thing has changed since the last time I posted. I'll remember that for next time. But the pic is on my blog in case you're interested.

Edit again: I've uploaded the pics to the craftster pic hosting. Now everyone should be able to see the picture. Thanks for the compliments!
