Hi favorite cousin! These socks are amazing! Like little mini paintings. I'm thoroughly impressed... when are you going to get me for Christmas and make me some with Tiger Lilies on them? he he

This is such a good idea for a kid in restaurants, or long car rides. Gotta love the care bears!

5  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions / Contact Paper on Walls? on: June 29, 2008 07:57:30 PM
I was thinking of using colored contact paper to make some cool wall art shapes and silhouettes. Has anyone tried this? I'm wondering if it will damage the walls when I try to take it off. I've seen the ones you can purchase online, but I would love to be able to make my own. One more solution to white apartment walls! I'm going to try some test patches in the closet, so I will let you know.

These are so cute. They should be made into children's books. The adventures of the alphabet puppets.

I like that this one is autobiographical. I can't wait for the next saga!
8  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Re: first post...lots of my stencils!(Link Heavy...sorry) on: March 11, 2007 12:26:56 PM
These are awesome. I am also curious what you made them on. I've always used vellum or paper, but you can't really do more than a couple and then the stencil gets wrecked. I've tried the plastic but it's harder to cut out. Any suggestions?
9  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Re: Hollywood Ladies Stenciled Prints (first post!) on: March 11, 2007 12:20:48 PM
I made the stencils by blowing up pictures and cutting them out on vellum with an exacto. I wanted to make audrey bigger but i haven't found a good method that doesn't require piecing together lots of smaller stencils (she is the product of 4 8x10inch ones).

Tell me what you think. I have giant walls in my apartment so I needed some big art. I just finished the Marilyns for a friend. I didn't make the flower prints next to Audrey. Those are a tablecloth cut in half and mounted on wood frames that I made.
