thanks for all the pretty comments everyone Smiley.

Gladrags, those are seriously really cool pieces. They're very original and unique. I have to say the top one is my favorite. They are both really great designs. Did you use a patten or did you cut as you went?

haha i'm all about franken-patterns. example, i usually use the same
shirt pattern and alter the neck line and sleeves with other patterns.

Holy cow, don't take this the wrong way - But I -totally- thought you were a mannequin.  ^_^  Thats pretty cool actually!   The flawless skin, slender limbs and deadpan facial expression totally had me fooled.  XD   Please don't be offended.  Your shirts are AWESOME and I really love the second one without the belt.

I love them shirts, you are cute as a button, and your boots are fantastic. I almost typed boobs. Oh god.

haha these made me giggle.

Haha, I hate how I'm lacking time to post some of the stuff I've been up to, but I finally got the chance.

Here are two recent pieces that I'm quite fond of:

or no belt? deal! haha

I love how I can keep the same stern facial expression throughout. I'm not that mad looking all the time, I promise Smiley

8  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: LEOPARD PRINT PURSE. on: March 19, 2007 05:14:49 PM
I second what everyone here has said so far...
I love how you added the little chain thingie, it's cute!
Oh, and hot pink with leopard print is a great combo too, for your own version.

haha i've gotten into adding tons of gromits/other gold things lately, so it's good to hear it looks alright.
and if i can ever get my hands on some reasonably priced hot pink leopard print, i'm sure it would look great.

This is a great bag!  I love animal prints.

and hey, I'm 27 and I still make gifts for my mom Wink  In fact, everyone got handmade gifts this Christmas... my entire family and all my friends!  Trust me, your mom will never outgrow gifts you make - they're so much more meaningful!

And speaking of which, she will love this bag.  Great job!

haha mine as well! took me all of december, but i'm with you. gifts are meant to be made, anyone can go out and buy things.

It's beautiful!

That is absolutely gorgeous.

I love the fabric.

I might have to go and buy the pattern now.

I love your bag, it looks so professional!

oooh!   SO good! I want one just like it!  It looks so professional!  Your mom is gonna be one happy lady!

thanks!! Smiley

I made this for my Mom's birthday (yes, i'm still into making her presents, haha) and I plan on making one for myself incorporating red vinyl opposed to the black.

It was made using a Mccalls 4936? I believe.
I found it fairly easy to follow. The zipper was put in differently than I'm use to and I'm sure I'll have better outcomes on that matter in the future. I'm all about using old binder cardboard for the base instead of plastic canvas, it really holds its shape quite nicely.

comments, critque, thanks! Smiley
