23  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Looking for patterns!/What do you keep your crochhet stuff in? on: May 09, 2006 09:12:33 PM
I'm looking for two patterns. The first is a crocheted version of the kitty pi bed. http://wendyknits.net/knit/kittybed.htm

The other pattern that I'm looking for is something to keep all of my yarn and hooks in. A felted box maybe? What do you keep your crochet goodies in?
24  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Felted bags/cat bed on: May 08, 2006 12:58:59 PM
I looooove the idea of felting things. I'm looking for two patterns. One, for holding all of my yarns and things. The other, a kitty bed, similar to the knitted kiity pii bed. Anyone have any patterns for me?
25  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Hello Kitty Crochet Patterns on: April 21, 2006 05:04:04 PM
I remember that someone was looking for hello kitty crochet stuff. I stumbled across this site :http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Cottage/3606/bags.html  She will give you the pattern for a pattern or yarn exchange.
26  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Crocheting a circle on: April 21, 2006 02:28:50 PM
So, I'd love to venture out from square bags, but I have a problem. I can't crochet a circle for the life of me. I put the dc's in the loop, and it just ends up being a big knot. Is there some trick to this that I'm missing?
27  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Kitty weed cat toy on: April 21, 2006 01:18:39 PM
i'm making this for a friend. Pattern is found here: http://www.crochetme.com/June_July_2005/patt_kitty_toy.htm

There's something about the pattern that I don't quite get. It says sc in 2nd chain from hook and in each remaining chain, sc in each stitch on the backside of the chain,. How do I go about putting the sc's in the backsides?
28  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / A kind of orange you glad.. on: April 17, 2006 05:15:21 PM
This is my first real project. Unless you count a potholder. I used the orange you glad pattern. It isn't anything near what the pattern looks like, but I like it. Comments and critques welcome!

29  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Pain (in the hands) on: April 13, 2006 09:16:35 AM
So, I'm working on the Orange you glad bag, from the happy hooker, and I've realized something. When I crochet, the muscles in between my fingers and thumb hurt alot, sometimes so bad that I have to stop, and it hurts for hours afterwards. Am I doing something wrong? I did just start crocheting...I do have a mild case of carpal tunnel, could that be the culprit? And if so, would my braces help?
30  CROCHET / Projects from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller / My happy hooker. on: April 12, 2006 03:02:24 PM
I got The Happy Hooker in the mail today. I've been working on the stiches, and my hands hurt! But, m question is, what's the best project to start with? I've never made anything before, unless you count a square. What are your suggestions?
