Purchase flowers from DollarGeneral b/c they are less expensive and you can have a variety of colors to use.

Hope this helps.  Let me know if I can help in any way.

You know, I never realized the the dollar store would be a great place to get flowers. Thanks!
14  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Psylocke! Comic geekiness. on: November 15, 2006 04:36:20 AM
the shoes were thrift store purchases that were originally black.  I painted them with many layers of blue acrylic paint, then covered them in a gloss coat.

Thanks for the comments!

Well, they came out awesome looking. Plus I just love the shape of them.
Again, I think this is an awesome costume. Great job.
15  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Re: Dice Memory Wire Bracelet on: November 15, 2006 04:34:56 AM
I have the card they were attached to, and it says -

"Darice Jewlery Designer (TM)
1976-53 200PCS/PKG 8MM Dice Beads Transparent"

And the UPC, if it helps is 652695575365

on Darice's website: https://darice.com/ecom/ProductDetails.aspx?it=1976-53&oid=37238

I didn't ind them on joann's website, but i found the same pack on this site:

http://www.geminidreamsbeads.com/pd_dice_beads_8mm.cfm

Thanks so much. I couldn't find them at my local JoAnns, but there's another one a few towns over. I think I'll try that one next. I have been searching for dice beads for a while, I think they're so cool looking.

WOW That is AMAZING. I just stared at the picture for a while. It honestly is one of the most beautiful pieces of beaded jewelry I've ever seen. You should be incredibly proud of yourself and your talent!
