101  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Crochet Wire Goodness (very IMG heavy!) on: April 20, 2006 02:50:52 PM
So excited! I have been tinkering around with beads since I read about crocheting wire here in Jan. Here's what I've come up with so far (my 1st post!)  Grin
I'd really like to start selling my stuff on ebay/craft fairs/shops. Are they good enough? Any ideas for pricing? (I was thinking sets for $14, necklace for $10, earrings for $4) Thanks!

102  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Unsexed baby tees on: April 20, 2006 02:32:18 PM
Hi! First-time poster here!

After learning about stenciling on this forum, I decided to get crafty for a friend's impending baby (the sex of which is to remain a mystery) so I got a coupla baby shirts and went at it. Here they are:

and this one is kinda icky. Suggestions for improvement?

103  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / My first blanket (a leetle one!) on: April 20, 2006 02:27:28 PM
I just found out my friend is preggo, so of course I had to make something for the incoming baby. I didn't want to do the traditional pink/blue so I made it in teal, cream and a verigated yarn, all Red Hart. I also stenciled a few baby shirts to go with.

Here she is!

Hope you can see this, as this is my first time posting, I'm a photo-virgin!  Smiley
104  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage / Boyfriend Birthday Gift for a Real Sweetheart on: March 26, 2006 10:25:23 PM
Hi all.

I have a few months to prepare for my boyfriend's birthday, so of course if I wanna make something, I better start now.

He is a sweetheart, he helped me get up the courage to leave a very bad relationship and has really shown me respect and unconditional love.
Best part, he LOVES my craftiness. Really appreciates the time and effort I put into my crafts.

He's part Italian and Native American and really proud of them both. He's early 30's and enjoys fine dining, going to museums and artsy, sensual stuff. Loves opera and the beach. He's a fellow grad student in my psychology department. This is a guy who will knock himself out to get someone a great gift for no reason.

Last good gift I gave him was a journal with a handbeaded (handmade) bookmark and before that, a scarf.

I feel bad, because I don't have a lot of moolah to spend on him. I want to make him something because I know he'd love it, but it being summer, my best gift, a scarf, is out.

I can cook, bake, sew, knit (slowly), crochet, paint (in a grandma moses sorta way), make m&p soap, make some jewlery, photography.

Any suggestions are welcome  Thanks!  Grin
