22  My cute jewelry holder in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by gammerus on: December 09, 2007 10:46:24 PM
After much frustration, and lost jewelry I decided it was time to organize my jewelry (or at lease some of them)

It isn't incredibly sturdy, but man it looks cool!

24  Re: Vegetarian/Vegan Swap in The Swap Gallery by gammerus on: November 05, 2007 12:48:00 AM
caffien_fiend hasn't been online in months and her package supposedly arrived so I am going to post pics of what I sent.

I send her some Agar Agar, and my own collection of southwestern recipies.
a matching strawberry and earing and pendent set, along with some patches and another pendent that says veghead.  I would have included a chain, but whenever I do it turns out to be the wrong size :/.  I also included a cute chili pepper plushie and a veggie magnet set, as well as a couple transformer ones for her BF

Everything was wrapped in extra fabric I had lying around (waste no want not Wink )

25  Van Gogh makes everything better in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by gammerus on: September 29, 2007 02:57:28 PM
I found this clock for $1.50 at the thrift store.

I knew I wanted to use a Van Gogh painting but I wasn't sure which one would look best. So I looked on google and I was inspired to use one of his best paintings, "First Steps"  With a little spraypaint, and my printer I recreated this $17 clock for $1.50

You can never have too many van goghs

26  Re: Carrying rats? in Pet-Related Crafts: Discussion and Questions by gammerus on: September 24, 2007 11:32:21 AM
I don't know about rats but I know my ferrets love the bag I made for them. They  are only content if they can stick their head out, so regular screen mesh was a nono for them

Mine wasn't special, just a basic bag w/ zipper

27  Re: grandparents 50th anniversary in Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage by gammerus on: September 01, 2007 11:58:06 PM
Well I ended up making them a frame. I spray painted a baby blue frame I found at the dollar store and glued some of those slot machine bars (from an old broken machine we had) onto it. I added a cute pic of them together at the casino (they go all the time) added the queen of hearts and the king of spades because it fit the theme and it was cute.

My aunt dedicated a section of the newspaper to their anniversary and I cut it out, folded it, and left the written portion showing in the largest panel of the frame.

I didn't take a picture so you will have to take my for it that it came out like this.

Yeah, despite my blatant hatred towards Arizona heat, I do have a love for the state.

Everyone loves an Arizona sunset.

30  colorful pendent in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by gammerus on: August 10, 2007 03:08:36 AM
I made this for my boyfriends mom, It didn't come out as great as I hoped, but my paint supply is very, very low and I cannot mix paints well Undecided I was trying to make the fram look like rope, but again I do not mix paints with the highest level of skill.

I cannot decide if it is floral or vegetable like.

Please excuse my painty hands
