One question..how did u keep them spaced? did u knot the fishing line?.. i'm drawing a blank here on how u strung them and kept them from falling down the line..?
I just used the same length fishing line and then knotted it like u would knot string when making a bracelet or something. VERY cheap proj. I went to salvation army one day, and they happened to have a "10 records for a $, day" so i got a bunch at once.

got some hard to find circulars here. very quick shipping and competative prices.
try thrift stores... i always find new needles at this one near me. if there's old lady stuff in the store there's bound to be some crafty stuff too.

Just wondering if anyone has made the punk rock backpack.
I have just started it and was wondering if there is any advantage to kniting the back, gusset and straps in St St rather than garter.
I am almost done with the backpack. I used garter stitch for the gusset. I don't think either technique is better than the other for this project, but the garter stitch makes a nice texture along the side. The straps, i stuck to St st though.
I'll post when i have it all sewn together

Those are really cute, but does the marble make the bobbin heavier? I would be afraid of it falling out of my hair, those are too cool to lose!
The bobby pins i purchased are supprisingly tight and heavy duty. I have fairly thin hair and they stay in all day, even with the marble on the end. crazy stuff.

wasn't sure where to post this. oh well
I was collecting weird, eclectic album covers to line a wall in my apartment with. I connected 3 in a vertical column by poking little holes in the corners and stringing fishing line through them.
I took the records themselves and did another wall them.
