1  WAHHAHA more skirts! in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by firzenma on: July 01, 2008 05:12:11 PM
Nothing too difficult but there they are

The first one used to be these unsightly huge, and I mean huge, gauchos,  it is now a skirt.  Donated by: my mom

and below is the pretty ribbon my friend let me have, she's always letting me use her stuff, thanks K!

This one is made out of fabric I've had for years.  My cousin bought from this store to use ask a window scarf and gave it to me instead. Oh yeah The waistband is yellow because that was the only stretch material I had on hand.

^^Why do I always pose like that? lol

2  reconstructed paisley early 80's dress. in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by firzenma on: July 01, 2008 12:12:41 PM
So I found this dress in my mom's old tub of clothes and I loved it but sadly it was too big.... Sad

So I took the dress in on the sides and added buttons!  it looks much better in person and fits perfectly.

Below is the button detailing

Ignore my weird arms, lol

and one last picture!

4  Infinite Dreams....new dream catchers in Beads: Completed Projects by firzenma on: June 21, 2008 04:41:47 PM
So here are some new dream catchers I did a couple days ago.  They are wound with leather and hemp with beads. I love the first one.  Sorry the pictures don't really do them much justice, but I thought I would share.

5  cool leopard/cheetah/zebra bolero recon from huge ugly dress shirt. in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by firzenma on: June 21, 2008 04:26:46 PM
My aunt gave me this huge ancient dress shirt to "mutilate" as she put it a couple days ago.

...I chopped off the bottom and sleeves, and tah-dah a Bolero is born!  there are acutally 3 ways I've thought about wearing this but I'm only showing two because the third one looks horrible.  There actually should be four ways but it's too small to button up over my boobs.

way numero uno. one button and the top and one at the bottom

And...way numero dos.

6  awesome sunflower fabric into one cute skirt. in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by firzenma on: June 21, 2008 04:01:54 PM
I found this amazing sunflower print fabric at FabricLand, like the only fabric store near me, sadly.  Anyway I fell in love with it and had to make a skirt!  I love sunflowers, they remind me of happiness and freedom.  I'm not sure why but when I look at them I feel inspired.  The skirt is made from a simplicity junior pattern.  Tell me what you think!

and on me in my favorite tee!  Make Art not War! Imagine the whole army deciding to knit instead of fight.  whoa, and my trash can and hamper, just pretend they're scupltures or something.

Feedback appreciated!

7  Hand Crafted one of a kind Dream Catchers PIC HEAVY. EDIT: would you buy these? in Get Product and Website Opinions by firzenma on: May 31, 2008 08:09:56 AM
Hello hello fellow crafters, I make so much stuff it's insane but I've been lurking for so long.  Recently, well not recently, but I discovered how to make one of a kind dream catchers, something I created for my art club and I'm thinking about opening an etsy shop.  Here are pictures of most of the ones I've made so far.

Would you buy them if I had an etsy and how much would you pay?

This one was made for a boy so I can make masculine dream catchers as well

Tell me what you think!  thanks!  Oh and there are two different sizes the green blue yellow one is the larger as well as the first red orange yellow.  Almost forgot, they're all custom one of a kind, meaning I couldn't sell the same one, just similar and everyone has hand picked their own beads or just told me the colors they wanted.
