2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / I want to fix a coat on: February 28, 2008 12:55:28 PM
Okay, I was gifted this coat, and I set it aside because as is, if I wear it its so huge I become a bag lady, but its a nice wool coat, and i wondered if I could get tips/help on how to make it smaller, I have some pictures of it.
Its lined and open at the bottom, but the ends are hemmed, so if I can, i'd like not to take it totally apart, since I can turn it inside out and do what I want with it. on to the pictures!

sorry for all the pictures, but as you can see, I think its about 10 sizes too big, so I have alot of room, any help that can get me on my way to fixing it is awesome...

Woohoo, love christmas camera, now I can start posting projects i've made.
This is a birthday present for someone tomorrow, I hope she likes it, I think she will... especially because its gotten absolutely frigid D:

almost forgot- I got the pattern from https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=56636.0, except I put this one together different, as I think its neater this way.
4  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / I want to make a craft room table.. help? on: March 16, 2006 01:34:09 PM
Okay I did a search, and didnt' find anything.. I hope I"m not posting something redundant... also figured this was the right place
, I told mah guy I want a corner to corner table in my room, to function as a computer desk and craft table/organizer (With shelves under) And went about wanting to buy it.. but he figures that will be too expensive, and wants to build it...I'm thinking a 7.5 foot table one way, and 8 feet the other... with 2 or 3 feet of workspace, like a regular computer desk... Now, what can I do.. the cheapest, because.. it means I'll likely have it sooner.
I've already seen this excellent post, and if I can, I'll use the idea for the sewing machine his mum's gonna let me borrow.. probably indefinatly
Things I'd like it to have would be storage space underneat, but not everywhere, cuz I want my feet to fit under, specially the computer desk part of it... probably just shelves, and rubbermaid containers.
I want places for the sewing machine (mah future baby Cheesy) moniter (LCD screen so.. its thin)
graphics tablet.. scanner.. future eventual printer... all of which would be better space wise to keep them on shelves anyways when I'm NOT using them...
I knit, wanna sew.. and have a place to cut up the fabric, also i've made stitch markers for my knitting, super fun.. maybe get into that a little more... plus anything else my ADHD mind can come up with to dabble in.
Soooo can anyone give me some suggestions? Thanks :3
