1  Hobo bag? in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions by MandaBear on: May 28, 2005 12:45:07 PM
hobo bag from urbn.com

I've been lusting over this bags design for weeks but I have never really made a *good* looking purse before. I would buy one but I don't have $42 bucks laying around and I want it in a differernt color, minus the sequin. (I am not a very flashy type of girl)

Has anyone seen a pattern for this bag or tackled or made their own? I check Hancock Fabrics with no luck Sad

2  Resizing jeans? in Clothing: Discussion and Questions by MandaBear on: March 26, 2005 07:43:52 PM
A couple months ago I spent a ton of money on some "Seven for all man kind" jeans (on ebay) and recently I have lost some weight. The butt in the jeans sags funny and I was wondering how easy it would be to resize them in the crotch/butt area? I'm not ashamed to go to a tailor and have them re-size them but if it is easy or possible I don't mind doing it myself. I just don't want to hack into them without any words of wisdom!!

These are not my jeans but that is the type of seam I am going up against! I've done that type of seam before with PJ bottoms but not jeans...
