I have a separate wist for those things I want to make.

Okay - so how does someone get two wists?  Is it all on the same account?

Thank you for your comments.  They are not really meant to have anything put in them but you could if you wanted to.

Getting the bamboo in has been difficult to figure out.  The first one I  made the first hole and just guessed where it should come out.
The second one I used wood skewers to try and get the holes lined up but it was still a lot of guessing for the second holes.
My father gave me a long metal skewer that he sharpened.  I am hoping I can poke it through where the second hole should go.

I made the fist one at art camp.  Another project I was not expecting to be thrilled about that I really got into.

When i got home from camp my sister liked it so much she wanted to borrow it.  So since she had a birthday coming up I decided to make her a blue one that would go better in her massage room.

She loves it - and I get to see it at least once a week when I go for my massage.

There is nothing like having a massage therapist who works next door Smiley  I get to go over in my robe!

Gourds scare me a little.

Why - gourds are such fun - and you can do just about anything to them.

and Horty says thank you for the complement.

Known to her friends as Horty Gourdy!

Hi all, My name is Horty and I guess you can call me a doll Wink but I ain't no softy.  As you can see I have an amazing fashion sense and like to dress to impress.  The dress I am wearing today was designed and made by my friend Kmac.  She even made my beret. I am new to this area and would love to meet some new friends.

Yeah, I'd do it.  I don't sew, except leather.  And the only crocheting I can do is with fabric or plastic bags.  Would any of that be ok?

Ohhh baby - a leather stocking - be still my beating heart!!!! Grin

Looks like you two would have to be partners!!! Smiley

Ok with me.  Kmac, I looked at some of your stuff.  Love the gourd art!

Okay with me too.  I have to admit I did some stalking of you too pinokeeo.

Guess this means I have to sign up for this swap Smiley
