1  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage / Gift for someone who HATES YOU!? on: November 29, 2006 02:03:00 PM
So my friends and I are doing the Secret Santa thing like usual. I was looking forward to it but somehow I managed to pick the name of the one person on the list who doesn't like me AT ALL. There's a whole big long history and I don't want to bore you with it.
But basically, we used to be so close. Then this person changed all of a sudden and randomly started to hate me. And now things between us are so AWKWARD and AWFUL.
And I can't change names.

I really need help. I can't even ask around for what this person wants because we're trying to keep it EXTREMELY secret.
What type of gift would be suitable for someone who hates you?
I'm at a loss here.
ANY suggestions would be lovely.
2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / What's better than a free t-shirt?! on: August 09, 2006 10:38:09 AM
My friend won a t-shirt at school, but she didn't want it so she gave it to me! It was huge, with long mega sleeves and big boxy shoulders. Ick.
Here's my before "picture" (I didn't take any real ones. aha)

After an evening of sewing, the big boxy shirt turned into something nicer. I added ruching (is that how you spell it?!) down the sides, a hood (because who doesn't love hoods?!), and the sleeves are now much much nicer.

Looks like the sides are just bunched up. Looks better in person, trust me!

Please excuse the weird faces. New clothes makes me happy.
Comments/Suggestions would be lovely Smiley
3  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / Death Cab For Footsies [img heavy-ish] on: August 04, 2006 10:16:39 AM
A while ago I made my friend a pair of t-shirt pants for her birthday and I stencilled on a Death Cab For Cutie logo.
(https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=111430.0 if you're interested)
ANYHOO I loved the little skulls so much that I had to re-use them. So I stencilled them on a pair of white shoes. That was too blah so I just wrote out some Death Cab lyrics all over them.

And after:

(My feet are peeling Sad I got sunburnt)

Very strange "action shot":

What do you think ?
4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Death Cab T-shirt Pants ! :) on: August 02, 2006 01:49:05 PM
So, for my friend's birthday I decided to make her t-shirt pants out of this plain green shirt I had lying around. (No before pics, sorry... Just a plain old t-shirt) I had to make a black waistband out of another old t-shirt because they were rather low...
They were too blah so I stencilled a Death Cab For Cutie logo on there... It was my first stencil attempt ever, so be kind.

Notice the potatoes in the background.

Close up of the stencil...

Any comments/suggestions/whatevers would be lovely Smiley
5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Condom Tshirt Recon! on: March 15, 2006 01:01:18 PM
Hey everyone! This is my first recon ever. I think it turned out pretty well. Turned a big boxy free t-shirt into a nice long sleeve shirt.  Any feedback would be amazing. =)
