1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: t shirt for work! puffy sleeves, ribbon lacing on: January 12, 2007 06:58:03 PM
Wow!  What an improvement. When I worked at a record store I hated the big bag like shirts they gave us to wear.
2  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage / Re: STUMPED ON VALENTINES DAY GIFT IDEAS FOR BOYFRIEND.. HELP! on: January 12, 2007 06:50:07 PM
well, if he is technical & practical he would appreciate something in the same vein.  does he have an mp3 player, psp, cd player, or other technological gadget he uses to occupy himself on the train everyday?  it might very well need a cozy/carrying case.  you should be able to find some appropriate fabric from the thrift store (an aerosmith shirt, video game sheets, etc.) & cut it up & sew a case.

or since you can scrapbook, maybe he would appreciate a handmade cookbook?  meals you both enjoy or have some signifigance within your relationship, italian food, or maybe some sushi recipes?
3  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Beautiful Spy Sweater on: January 12, 2007 04:24:36 PM
I love it.  The style & the shaping & everything are just all so flattering!
Good luck on your seductive spy mission(s)!
4  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Little Miss Bossy Amigurumi! on: January 11, 2007 12:43:18 PM
Those books bring back fond memories of my 2nd grade boyfriend, Patrick.  We used to sit & read those books for hours.
If that isn't true love, I don't know what is.

Greatest amigurumi idea, ever.

i really like the effect novelty yarn lends to amigurumi.
6  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: We Love Our Blythes, Pullips and DALs Swap Round 3! on: January 05, 2007 04:21:47 PM
I was going to ask & now I have to...
where do you get cool Blythe sized glasses like that?
7  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Hooray for Hello Kitty! (scarf) on: January 02, 2007 07:59:18 AM
Yay for Hello Kitty AND Mimi!
You should also make one with Dear Daniel, too.  He was Hello Kitty's first love & one of my favorites.
8  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: rainbow granny square blanket on: January 02, 2007 07:50:54 AM
Retarded crocheters unite (or untie- sometimes I'm pretty dysfunctional)!
Great job on the blanket.  I love how bright it is.

yay for first dolls!! My friend, Twiztidblood, just joined as well with her first doll. It's a mary-kate and ashley doll ( I made a tiny exception for her haha) so I hope you guys won't mind! The doll has the same sized body as a Blythe pretty much  Smiley

Of course not!
& again, yay for new dolls!
10  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Stripey handwarmers, with and without fingers. on: January 02, 2007 07:33:06 AM
Yes, they're MUCH MUCH MUCH cooler than the original.
I really loooooove the first pair!  I like the colors (they remind me of the band Type O negative).
I am lazy as well, so I understand why the second pair doesn't have fingers!  What type of yarn did you use on the second pair?
