21  Re: We Love Our Blythes/Pullips Round 6 - Gallery! in The Swap Gallery by Shelichan on: November 18, 2007 06:32:49 PM
So cute!!! Cheesy

Here is what Lothruin sent me! Sadly there was no daylight today to  take pictures with... woke up and it was snowing!!! So these were what I could get. Again, thank you SO much!!!

Everything came wrapped so nicely in that quilt with tags and labels and a card and omg! Theres arm warmers, leg warmers, hat, sweater, dress,  and the quilt! The quilt is soooo nice~ Its backed with a red fabric. Cheesy And the hat is AMAZING with the huge pom-pom! It fits her great!!!!

The dress fits PERFECT. Seriously, it is an amazing fit! Fits her better than any other dress she has!!! And the print goes with Nemo's hair so nice! For someone who said they cant sew very well you amazed me - its REALLY gorgeous and the work quality is amazing!

Look at the tiny thumb holes! Omg I cant believe you knit that... it doesnt even feel like yarn. They are SO soft I want me sized ones!

The sweater fits great! Its a bit tight, but if I tried I could button it! I just dont have the lighting or patience to do it. I can believe you knit a sweater so small with such tiny buttons and button holes... omg... its AMAZING and Nemo and I LOVE the color of it!

Nemo and I thank you!!! Everything was SO amazing!!!

This is Nemo! She is a Pullip Papin with type 3 body. She just came home the other day! She is me, only in doll form. Cause we look a lot a like and we dress the same style. She is VERY bright and colorful. Very Japanese Street Fashion FRUiTSY - mainly Decora. So she loves very bright things and things to layer! Think very much like her stock outfit, or try googling FRUiTS or Decora. Its all about insane color, amounts of clothing, and accessories. She likes the color Pink, fashion, sewing, crafting, animals, being outside, and being her.

And for good measure... her and me! We have the same color hair (only she doesnt have 1" roots! Oops)

25  Clothing made for Ball Jointed Dolls (MSD/SD) in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by Shelichan on: September 28, 2007 12:14:30 AM
I at one point, had 5 BJDs, though unfortunately I had to sell the other 4 to get money for my laptop. *sad*. I used to be very into making and selling doll clothes, so this is the stuff that Ive made (well some of it.), then I just got burnt out on it... but anyway, here ya go. Let me know what ya think~

The doll with pink hair/green eyes is Sandia, a Dream of Doll Tender Bee-A (and the only doll I still own), she is 45cm size.

The doll with red hair was Dolmani (Doli), he was a Lovelyhouse ShinE. He is 60cm size. He was my first doll, and looking at pics of him now makes me miss him very much... *sad*

26  My first cross stitch! Whooo! Im proud. UPDATED WITH ANOTHER in Needlework: Completed Projects by Shelichan on: September 25, 2007 12:20:11 AM
So this is the first time Ive ever done cross stitch (seriously - Ive done silly little tiny things before, but this is the hardest thing yet). I got the pattern from http://www.cross-stitch-directory.com/ and the specific one I used is at http://www.cross-stitch-directory.com/pdf/geo_hearts.pdf only I used floss colors 334 as the dark and 3325 as the light. I want to make at least three others for my mom for her birthday in December. Cheesy This one took me about 7 hours. An hour last night and six today! Eeep.

What do you think? My back isnt too shabby either!

EDIT: I finished the second one! Here it is! Cheesy Now just two more to go in red!!!

27  Re: Patterns + Tutorials from My Grandma - Stuffed Animals and Ragdolls in Vintage Craft Projects by Shelichan on: September 21, 2007 06:54:13 PM
Oh god... I hate giraffes. I hate giraffes. I hate giraffes. Did I mention that I hate giraffes? Im glad I never really had any particular liking for them in the first place!!! As for the count... I have 1 completed, 7 sewn together (still need to be stuffed/sewn closed/assembled), 1 cut out, and no progress on the other 16. Theyre taking me about 40 minutes to sew together each, but that was the second one I made, Im probably getting faster at it.

Here is a pic of the 7 sewn bodies. Hehe you can at least see the fabrics and trims Ive used here. The completed one is in the basement, and my back hurts too badly to run down to grab him. But he is pink leopard print and black lace.

Heres my look from the other day... no occasion. I usually do makeup like this everyday using different colors and such - I just never take pictures!

And just for good measure... heres the outfit that went with it!
