Is there anyone in the area who crafts? Gets together? Does anything unique?
3  Georgia / Georgia: Southeast / Re: savannah on: September 22, 2013 03:31:29 PM
The last post on this board was...2011? 2010?!

I just moved to the area, a little south of it actually, and I havn't seen much craft activity. The Joann is pretty sad. AC Moore in the mall isn't too bad I guess. And I haven't seen any craft fairs or anything.

Are there any crafters still around?

9  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Stock Up For Christmas Swap? on: July 23, 2011 12:49:51 PM
I suggest swapping things that can be given as unique and exciting hand crafted gifts for this holiday season.

That way I'm not giving everyone the same thing in diffrent colors, but a wide assortment of awesome stuff.  Stuff I myself can't make for them.

I don't know how to host, so I hope someone more knowledgeable is as excited as I am.
10  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: Queen themed swap? on: July 18, 2011 08:59:12 PM
How did y'all get into Queen? I was thinking today about when I started liking them. I am sure I am not the only one to trace them to Waynes World.  Actually when I saw it I would not even give the band a chance. Figuring as an 11 year old does, if your Mom likes it and it's old it can't be good. When I did give the music a chance, I loved them!!! (Thanks Mom!)

I'm feeling nostalgic tonight.
