1  Re: 2007 Color Craft-A-Long in Craftalongs by stanzi on: January 16, 2007 11:56:26 AM
I had a really hard time coming up for something for this, as I cant currently afford buying new fabric (I am moving for my self ( Grin) , well + a boyfriend, but still thight economi at the moment). But, i finally realized: My sewing machine cover, that never got finished. Well now it is (you might already have seen it on miscellaneous, completed). But I am really happy with it, and I do have some fabric left so I am thinking of making the magic wallet thingy to. Until then, here is:

back (dont have a front picture for some reason, but its the same ecxpet the hickup on the ribbon)

2  Sewing machine cover! Finally! in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by stanzi on: January 15, 2007 09:48:24 AM
So i got this done, finally. It has been laying around half done for months (=very unhappy sewing machine). I`m new to sewing, so I was a bit scared of it I think. But now me and my boyfriend are moving out together ( Grin) and I figured I had to get it done by then. It was kind of difficult, I did`nt get all the measurements right and stuff like that, but all in all I think it turned out pretty good.

3  Re: T-Shirt Pants in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by stanzi on: January 11, 2007 09:33:07 AM
I finished yesterday, and now i finally have pictures Smiley I Only had a size  M, so I had to fill in at the sides to fit my thighs, but that made them flare waay to much at the bottom  Shocked  So I sewed them in a bit there. I also sewed the waistband wrong (can you believe it? With a tut and everything to follow). But its okay, cause they just morfed into "mamapants", so I am giving them away to my pregnant friend  Cheesy
By the way, the panels at the side are actually bright orange, but you know...camera`s.

Here`s the front:

4  First topic ;D : Boring t-shirt to cute shirt with kitty! in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by stanzi on: January 06, 2007 10:40:05 AM
Ok, i am weirdly exited about this being my first post  Cheesy
Anyway, I had this old, boring t-shirt that I never wore, so today I finally did something about it! I cut the neckline and added some fabric (wich now stands right up, have no idea way but I dont mind) and a cute litte applique kitty. That one I cut from the same fabric as I used for the neckline and sewd it on (wich I never would have dared if it wasent for this tutorial! https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=76089.0).

Please exuse my looks, I am recovering from awful cold at the moment, and havent been in shape to wash my hair or do my makeup just yet.

Old, boring white t-shirt

New, cute t-shirt!

And again..(it looks like it is under my arm, and all though it is a bit to much to the side in RL, it is not as bad as this)

Comments appriciated Wink
(assuming the pictures work)
