1  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: nintendo controller ds lite case w/ mini tutorial on: November 12, 2006 01:33:05 PM
here's a list of the dimensions of the DS vs. the DS Lite.

i have a DS that i share with my husband, but i'd like to get him a DS lite for christmas, so i may end up making both sizes of this brilliant little case.

original DS -- 148.7 mm 84.7 mm 28.9 mm
DS Lite -- 133 mm 73.9 mm 21.5 mm

us standard units
original DS -- 5.85 x 3.33 x 1.13 inches
DS Lite -- 5.24 inches 2.9 inches 0.85 inches

it may take me a bit to puzzle out the sizes of the plastic canvas, but when i do i'll post them here.

if someone more clever can figure it out, please post!

off to scratch my head and scribble out some numbers!

2  CLOTHING / Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Completed Projects / Re: t shirt & shrug(big girl <3) on: November 05, 2005 06:11:08 AM
love them both, especially the shrug!

every time i see another beautiful girl who isn't skinny, it helps me remember to hold my head up a little higher!

you're lovely and so is your work!

i have had good luck with the combo of my dremel and a very strong black tea concoction. the tea stains kind of look like motor oil stains, they remind me of my dad working in the garage.

6  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: What's Brown & Pink & Polka-Dotted? on: August 30, 2005 02:04:38 AM
it's fab!

i like it w/o straps but i do like the idea of buttons on the inside so you could have the straps with elastic loops on the ends and wear them if you felt like it...

great work!

7  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Scrapbooking: Completed Projects / scrapbook for my sisters b'day on: August 25, 2005 07:17:09 PM
the front and back cover were plain chipboard and the inside has dark chocolate colored blank cardstock. the color scheme is brown, red and tan.

not the best photo, i had to use my phone camera. now my digi cam is charged, but my sis already has her book.

she seemed pretty happy with it.

8  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / Re: Because Hello Kitty and Converse belong together... on: August 25, 2005 03:15:31 AM
those are great! sometimes some of the painted shoes, especially canvas ones i have seen looked kind of sloppy, but those are fantastic. you should be proud.

be sure to put some sort of sealant on them so the paint wont chip away or crack.

9  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Re: Patchwork cushion cover in Japanese fabrics on: August 22, 2005 10:17:55 PM
it looks great.

i really like the purple-y blues with the natural colored fabric.

what lucky gift recipients!
