1  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Can you put cocoa butter into melt and pour soap? on: September 03, 2010 09:03:12 AM
Hi, I just ordered my first soap making supplies, melt and pour for my first try, and some bits to make massage bars. I was just wondering wether you can add a little cocoa butter to melt and pour soap base to make a creamier soap?. Thanks.
2  U.K. AND IRELAND / ENGLAND / How about a staffordshire craft fair? on: August 16, 2010 01:48:50 PM
Hello all,
Just putting the feelers out to see how many participants i would get for a craft fair in staffordshire, most likely Stoke-onTrent, Newcastle-under-lyme or Stafford. It would be sometime in November. If you are interested, please drop a quick post with a brief description of what you would be selling.

Thanks, Vicky.

5  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / Money making crafts for mums on: September 28, 2004 11:05:59 PM
Hi everyone,
I'm going to be having a baby in december and will not be able to go out to work anymore, however i feel a bit uncomfortable living off my partner completely, so i was wondering if anybody had any suggestions of how i could use craftiness to make a little extra cash?. The sort of things i can make to a standard where i could sell them are things like bags, cushions, stencilled t shirts, I've made a few pairs of those clubbers fluffy leg warmers to sell to people before, teddy bears and freaky looking soft toys, then all the simple stuff like record bowls, earrings etc. I've noticed handmade stuff doesn't do too well on ebay, so perhaps set up a website?. Or does anybody know if consignment exists/ how to go about it in the uk?.

Any advice is much appreciated.
