11  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / Japanese folded grocery bag tutorial- no sewing involved! on: March 13, 2008 03:47:32 PM
Saw this tutorial on Japanese folded bags and thought someone might find it useful - it's such a simple idea and looks as though it'd be really effective, I've not tried it yet Smiley

The first bag he makes is clever, my first thought was 'wow, I wouldn't want to turn my back on my fabric stash with him around!!' Once he's wrapped everything that moved and some things that didn't you soon realise he's selling the cloth to make the bags, very Eco friendly ... until you get to the end and realise that he's selling them in not one but two paper bags!!  Grin

If anyone tries out the idea please post and let us know how it turned out Smiley

It's been ages since I knitted hedgehogs!! but once again my living room looks like a ward at St Tiggywinkles' hospital!

here are the finished results
Click on pics to see them bigger!

And, I think because I really don't like to see them squished in the road, I thought I should teach them a little road safety!!

Hope you like them, I'm off to knit a few more!!
