1  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Please don't hate the newbie.... on: February 23, 2006 08:00:05 PM
My friend requested a Koala hat, and I had a million ideas on how to make it. I told her to get the yarn and I'd try my hardest to make it turn out ok. Well, she picked up homespun for the main part of the hat.

I know that there are plenty of threads about everyone's hatred for homespun.

I've tried everything I can to get the hat started, but the yarn is driving me bonkers. Does anyone have any tips on how to make it work? Or perhaps a different pattern might work better?

I'm just at a loss.... Huh
