1  Art Project Help Needed in More Art, Less Craft: Discussion and Questions by shewantsxglamor on: February 20, 2008 09:14:02 AM
For my Art II class, we're supposed to make collages, and I'm absolutely stuck! This is what I have so far...

Sorry for the small size and the rather poor picture quality Roll Eyes

We're allowed to use any media, and we can cut the edges of the paper, let things hang off the edges, etc.  I made some flower blossoms for the tree, but the top space looks too blank. I was contemplating having hands coming out of the sky with strings attached to the fingertips, and the strings attach to little birds, sort of like marionettes. Or I was thinking about having two hands cupped together so it looks like they're releasing birds, which would be flying out of the hands.

Detail shots:

Branches

Roots and grass

More branches

So, you crafty people, any ideas?

2  Boy style undies? in Clothing: Discussion and Questions by shewantsxglamor on: September 26, 2006 07:41:41 PM
So, I think boy undies are cute, and I want to make myself some. And I don't mean boy-cut. I want something to this effect:
(sorry it's kinda small, but you get the idea)

Would it be best to embellish a pair I already have with ribbon, etc. or is there some sort of pattern I could use...?

3  Re: what to do with all those scraps? **NOW WITH TUTE** in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by shewantsxglamor on: June 06, 2006 06:23:21 PM
It's finished!
It's a bit poofier than I expected, but I'm rather pleased with the outcome.
Now, without further ado, my necklace!

I love being scary ^^   (heehee, notice the toilet in the background?)

Note to Self: Never be a model (sorry for it being sideways. Photobucket hates me right now)

Admiring it.

All in all, I like it. Thanks for the awesome tutorial Kiss
