I didn't know what Shameless was (except the country song).  googled and learned.
I was going to say something about Mrs. O'leary's cow, but now I suspect I don't know what you mean by Chicago Fire.
OMG!! that was worth the laugh, chicago fire is a really good tv show. Wonder if the teen would get it if I wraped a box that says its from mrs o'leary with chicago fire and put a cow in it!

4  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Discussion and Questions / Re: plastic suitcase? painting? on: May 22, 2015 11:14:16 AM
well i tried it. I wanted to come back and share my results! I find out that using a  sharpie brush style worked wonderfully. I covered it in acrylic sealer when I was done and so far its survived 3  trips and a few weeks sitting on the floor under the bed.
5  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Discussion and Questions / plastic suitcase? painting? on: April 03, 2015 11:52:26 AM
How would I paint a Polycarbonate Suitcase? mines got a striped design in the plastic and I want to paint these plastic stripes with some color (its a pretty standard ugly grey). I tried to google but yea... I guess not many people paint these.
6  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions / Re: Hate my living/dining/ crap space on: June 02, 2014 08:10:47 PM
THe traffic pattern sucks. The end table is right next to the door and I smash my knees quite often. I also hate where the bench is cause everything gets shoved behind it. The tv is hard to watch from the recliner (which is my main sitting spot) and the futon bounces off the wall when you sleep on it. I also hate how the funiture dosent all land with a leg or so on the rug like it should (according to designers Huh). It just needs to be changed up. the only thing I like is the kitchen table placement. I really want to leave that one alone cause I drilled hooks specifically for candle holding vintage laterns. I didnt really put alot of thought into placement when I moved in. Oh and one more gripe... The cat box is behind my recliner......
7  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions / Hate my living/dining/ crap space on: June 01, 2014 04:19:59 PM

Everything serves double duty, end tables hold blankets, coffee table gets eaten on, couch is a futon, trunk holds bedding for futon, tv stands all storage...
I hate how this room (er rooms?) is layed out. Its very open concept. THe only thing I dont wanna move is my entry bench. any ideas? its only 500 sq feet so storage is importatnt.

10  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions / Re: I hate my bedroom on: August 25, 2013 01:29:35 PM
an update:
I ended up going with the dresser at the end of the bed, cause I relized with my bed as high as it is (28 inches tall) it would make it eaiser for the cats to get into bed. So far ive moved the reading nookish area to the other side, redid my medusa lamp and redid the closet doors. I plan to share pictures after next weekend. Next weekend my mother will be in town and plans to help me vault the bed and finish my room (the stuff I cant do alone.. Only problem is the dresser half blocks the window (which both are the same size)So what do I do about that? I cant figure it out!It just looks friggen weird now!
