LOL! I saw this on CBS Sunday Morning this weekend and had no idea I'd run across it here! Congratulations!!! (and great job!)
2  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Is Ravelry impacting your Craftster use? on: November 08, 2007 01:51:00 PM
I agree with the personal tool aspect of Ravelry. I've only been on about a week, but so far just having a place to put my WIPs, Queue, and Stash info is the best part for me (and searching for uses for yarns I have!). I find the discussions here easier to navigate, so I enjoy Crafster more for that.
3  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Sticking it out: some encouragement? on: November 08, 2007 01:44:08 PM
Wow, even a month is shorter than I'd ever do a sweater (well, maybe a large gauge).

I just accept that my projects will take me 6-12 months to finish. I almost always pick big and/or complex things to knit, so I work on it when I have time, and if I get sick of it, I put it aside and do something smaller or different for a while. It stinks when you start a sweater in the fall and finish it in the heat of summer, but then it's ready for the next fall! Smiley

I would love to join in on this, but I'm out of town that weekend. I hope there's another soon!

Hi there. I really like Ewe'll Love It in Nashua. It's the kind of store that makes me dizzy with the alternatives, but they have a huge selection and the Superbowl Sale every year is well worth the effort to get to.

I live in Derry and there's supposedly a place toward Chester but I haven't been there yet and cannot remember the name right now. Where will you be living in NH?

Ooo! Beautiful job! I like yours even better than the picture on Knitty!
9  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: fitted, young-looking sweater pattern on: March 09, 2007 11:14:53 AM
This post was about my first sweater, which I picked because it was fitted and young-looking. Smiley It's a Berroco patter but I swapped yarn.
