Joann's did not have one of the colors I need!  I bought a turquoise, white and spring green but I really wanted the fuschia!  I might go for red if they do not have any at Michaels...but I will say that I have read the instructions for three of them and I know I am going to be lost...I tried figuring it out with the chart but that made things worse!

I might have to take a pic as I go so someone can show me what I am doing incorrectly! Cheesy

I love the black lace one!

I also like that you used buttons to make the closings...

very nice job and very practical purses!

Can't wait to see more!
18623  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Keep Me Warm Swap (signups CLOSED sendout 2/5/10) on: January 17, 2011 09:16:36 AM
I see a lot of people have been very busy!

I made 2 of the three items I planned on...I need a little break so I think maybe shopping therapy is in order...

I love the fabric cowl---I know when I signed up for this swap I was thinking mostly yarn stuff, but I forgot how many great things there are to sew!!!  I have an idea for some of my scrap felted sweater pieces... Cheesy

Darn--I need another partner to make everything I want to make...maybe I will do a fake swap with me as my partner! Cheesy

I think the people who receive their purses are going to love them! Cheesy

What a great shape on that one!

I see a lot more people are becoming (fake) swap addicts! Cheesy

Sequinned ornaments are so lovely!

love the grey/black/white afghan rantyhippie!

And the tea wallet is also a nice gift!  The colors are so cheerful!  I am glad that you mentioned it would hold sugar substitute packages...I always find the ones I throw in my purse broken all over the bottom!

These are cute!  I am sure all of those little leftover balls of yarn would be happy to be used up for these!

Thanks for the pattern and inspiration!

I think the tenacle hoop is the most unusual and scary hoop I have seen!

I love it! I am going to have to make one for my new hoopla wall!

So many good ideas to put your own spin on...how inspirational you all are!

I think the bunny is adorable...and that man apron is a fantastic print for a guy...

I like the keyboard print a lot...at 10 projects so far, you are going to be hitting your 50 pretty quickly! Cheesy

Great job!

awww--cute froggy!

I have a lot of magazines from the 70's and 80's...and probably some yarn from then as well Cheesy

A lot of the yarn was stiff, sparkley, and pilled a lot...

I have this goal of making at least one afghan from each of my magazines from that time period--last year I made one for charity that was baby blue, rust and cream...sounds hideous, but I liked it...it was straight from a book from the 70's!
