I just love that kitty bag...your scrappy projects are indeed inspiring to me...

Thanks for the comments on my stuff, everyone...I am switching gears to making Christmas goodies...I destashed half of my Christmas fabrics (I cheated and sent them to Maremare... Grin)...but I still need to use up the other half!

Mini list:

Christmas tree skirt--scrappy style--use up Christmas fabrics
foam ball ornaments--I want to make those pineconey ones just posted by jexxican!
Christmas card bowls (I have so many old cards that I just can't throw away!)

Who is destashing what?

I think redstar13 and thatonegirl have put us to shame! Cheesy

WOW!

thatonegirl--I love the cream beret--would you mind telling what the pattern is?

I knew you crochet, but your knitting is also quite lovely...I mean, the cables and the sweaters and the ear warmers...you are quite a knitting machine!

redstar13 -- what a huge and wonderfully useful gift package you put together!  So many nice handmade things for the new baby...I really think the onesies are so cute...and you decorated so nicely as well...what a great time everyone must have had!

Good job, ladies! Phew--take a rest! Cheesy

I wish I could see the faces of the people who receive them, but I guess it is random...not sure if I can make it to Norristown for the Special Olympics but it would be cool if you spotted someone wearing your scarf, wouldn't it? Cheesy

I hope they post pictures...there might be a pic of our little group's scarves! Cheesy

Craft on---even with the holidays, there is nearly a month before the deadlines for most states!!

I love sewing together scraps...it is very relaxing, but you are right...it seems like you sew and sew and sew and ...you end up with a 4x4 square Grin... I need three pieces for a project that require more than that!

Keep on sewing, everyone!  Have fun!

That is awesome!  You might have yourself a a new little career! Grin

A lot of people are getting back to simplicity and the basics...sometimes all of this high tech stuff just gets overpowering...

I am sure that it is good for your child and BONUS---good for you!  A calm mom is a happy mom...Wink

simplicity is beautiful!

most craft paints are safe and non-toxic these days (ha, I seem to eat glue or paint daily...Grin), but I actually prefer the nice wood showing on your pieces!

lovely little house...and it makes a child use his/her imagination instead of having a pre-scripted story set up by a lot of toy manufacturers and Disney Grin

turned out nice!  Love the black and white...

I like to wear mine as summer robes...I have used that pattern many times...and yeah, the instructions are a bit scattered, but it looks like you did just fine!

Thanks for sharing...
