15951  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Party Planning / Re: Paper Party Picks for a First Anniversary. on: January 17, 2012 04:57:12 PM
What a super idea!!

I love the idea of a longer pick to hang on to those pesky meatballs!

Also love that you used stuff that would be thrown away--junk mail! Cheesy

Thanks for a clever idea...I see many parties with handmade picks!
15952  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Completed Projects / Re: Patriotic Heart Mosaic Pendant with Tutorial on: January 17, 2012 04:27:13 PM
I have always had a true admiration of glass artists...now that I see the process, I am even more in awe of the tools, skills and work it takes to make these beautiful pieces...

I am jealous of your grown-up tools... Cheesy

Thanks for sharing the process...

I can't wait to see what you make...I just love all of the ideas and imagination in putting these houses together...I love the Victorian details but I do not have the patience that many of you have!

I put my whole house together and then took it apart to paint it...I wanted to be sure I could get it together before putting in all of the hard work Cheesy

I did not sand anything according to instruction...it would have killed me..

I was wondering how the tree house was going!!

And now a a teapot house? Just too much cuteness there!

I know I need to start again on my house and I hope to see how everyone is progressing...

Tough for me to keep up as well, but I refuse to miss any projects I might want to steal! Cheesy

lol silvermoon--I love that you call your TM pillows poptarts!  You always make me smile...your rock is very thoughtful and a lovely remembrance! (and white!;) )

love ripply/scrappy scarves...I am so glad people are making these fun projects using up bits of everything!

The food projects always make me want to learn to cook... Cheesy...I love bread pudding with rum sauce because it reminds me of one of favorite cities, New Orleans!  The cakes are also looking yummy! (MMM butter icing...)

Just love the penguin tablet case...

I have not had a lot of time to craft due to tax season, and exhaustion from working, but I am taking notes...lots of notes!

I vote for A--the pop of the sashing color is gorgeous!  I just saw a pillow made of the focus fabric (minarets) and it is stunning!

What a fun way to use up one color...I will have to research this doodle embroidery I have seen around...it looks like lots of fun to do and use up stash!

ha ha I also have a jar of thread bits (again, thanks to Belladune!)...if it gets too full or tangled b spring, I put it out for the birds to use...

I hope to learn more and see your inspiring work, TroubleT!

I need a couple more eyeglass holders...using DMC for a closer is a good idea!

I think the afghan is a nice size...it turned out very colorful and nicely stitched!

supertink--I love gingham fabric...it always look so fresh and happy to me...cute dress!

hgddm--love your bead holder!  It does look like you have plenty to make earrings for a long time...

gaudiknight--it is always nice to make envelopes prettier!  I love lining plain envelopes, but they do not take up much stash, do they? Cheesy

laughinglark...2012 is the year to decide what to do with WIPS that have been around for a long time...I can't wait to see how you salvaged yours!  ha ha I can relate to the growing afghan...when I was learning, I made the most out of shape afghan ever...I was a bit embarrassed because it was for a nursing home, but they said the patient did not care...he loved his wonky afghan! Cheesy
