You go Ais!  That is tremendous!  30 pounds is a HUGE accomplishment!

Tracking is a must...you can't lose weight by exercising alone...it will burn off some calories and get you in shape, but the food is the ticket...Keep up the good work!

I do my steel cut oats on the stove as well, but the regular oats, fruit and nuts I do in the fridge overnight...just unwrap and eat...I have even taken it to work...

CLM--what beautiful eggs!  The Amish let the chickens eat marigolds and they seem to make pretty bright yolks!

I mixed the leftover quinoa with some black beans and it was quite tasty!  I also love mixing it into soups because it gives a comfy porridge feel to the soup...

I am thinking of making a menu planning book like noooo made.....it would be more fun to plan and cook if I could see it...

Stress is a huge factor in my not paying attention to my eating...

Hey--did you guys know that when they x-ray you, the x-rays actually do show your fat? Cheesy

I recently had my hips x-rayed and was appalled that I had a roll hanging over my undies that showed up!  Kind of looks like someone took white chalk and made a few curves over my bones...the doctor also told me that it is sort of what TSA sees on their machines (only theirs are clearer... Sad )...so it was a HUGE motivator to me to cut a few more calories!

Thanks for the mini review on the cutting block you used...

Despite the problems you mentioned, your stamp turned out so cute!
14544  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Felt Badge Swap (SignUp - CLOSED, SendOut - April 30) on: April 24, 2012 07:20:30 AM
I see some of the same badges I have on my sash! Cheesy

I know the one with the milk bottle was for cooking...I also have the one with the coffee cup, but surely at that age it was not for coffee! Cheesy

And, I have the one with the flying carpet...I can't even begin to remember what that was for!

It would be fun to see what you guys do with your little felt badges...they are all so cute and nicely done...

It turned out great!  I love creepier, dark projects...pop a flower somewhere if you want it to be "spring", Wink but really, it is quite interesting as is...love the creepy mossy stuff
