11  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Crochet Hook Roll Pattern? on: May 10, 2006 07:59:26 AM
I was just wondering if there was some form of crochet hook roll pattern anywhere.

I need to store my hooks somewhere all together where I won't loose them, along with my scissors and other bits and pieces.

Thanks if you can help!
12  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Scrapbooking: Discussion and Questions / Sharpies in the UK? on: March 28, 2006 07:01:43 AM
I really would like to buy some birght multi-coloured Sharpies , but where I live I can only seem to buy Black, Blue, Green, Red and Brown.

Does anyone know where I can buy a pack of multi-coloured ones from? I looked on ebay but there doesn't seem to be many proper Sharpies around.
13  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions / Mixed Papers? on: March 20, 2006 07:50:49 AM
To make Mixed Paper Books, and other similar things what kind of papers do you use?

Do you use special papers or just plain, scrap and gift wrapping paper?

Thank you if you can answer  Smiley
14  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Get Product and Website Opinions / Logo Advice, help me decide please. on: March 19, 2006 08:49:24 AM
I'm trying to come up with a logo type design to sew on to my crafty things I make but I'm having a bit of a hard time of it.

Which one of these four looks the best and are there any ways in which you think it could be improved?

I thought maybe a smaller white heart in the bigger one,  don't know.

Opinions please Smiley
15  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions / How much do you charge / would you pay? on: March 06, 2006 07:55:46 AM
I really enjoy making journals and would like to start and sell them online on a site like etsy or somewhere.

How much would you be prepared to pay for the following: in either or $ ?

100 page paper covered journal
200 page paper covered journal

100 page fabric covered journal
200 page fabric covered journal

Also how much do you think is reasonable to charge for extra things like closures and personalizations?

Thanks if you can help me out!
16  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / My First Journal on: March 01, 2006 07:24:44 AM
I just finished making my very first journal and thought that I would share the pictures.

I used the tutorial here: http://personal.mem.bellsouth.net/d/r/drv1913/0204.html
I found the whole thing quite fun.

I used some gift wrap I had to cover it, but I think I should of maybe used something a bit thicker.
It has 100 pages and it measures approx. 4 1/2" wide, 6" tall and 1" deep.

The next one I do I want to cover in fabric but I'm unsure of what kind of glue to use. I was going to try PVA glue but decided not.

Here are the pictures:

Let me know what you think Smiley

Edit: the pictures are of different sizes, oops.
17  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Phone Cozy - My 1st project post. on: March 01, 2006 06:47:11 AM
This is my first project post: It's a cell/mobile phone cozy that I made using this tutorial https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=21586.0 - Thanks Smiley

I made it with pink polka dotted black cotton and pink felt. I sewed on a popper to close it, only because the ribbon I sewed in the top didn't seem to want to stay there :/

It did go a little wrong on the flap, the fabric, no matter how much a tried, didn't want to let me sew it correctly, so there's a little bit of black longer and sticking out a bit. But I'm happy with it none the less.

Anyway here are the pictures:
