Oh why would I want to do that?! LOL!! Thanks! I tell you what I am totally brain dead when it comes to this. I know it's kinda self centered, but I have made so much stuff for my friends and my kids and the rest of my family, I just want to do something for me. KWIM?

I want to make a book about me. I have a list of stuff from the year I was born and the like... But I was just wondering what else? I have the big events (Graduation, getting married, having the babes) but I don;t know what else to include.

If anyone has made a book all about them, or has any other ideas about what I can put in it... that would be great!!

That adhesive inthe purple container by 3M is good.... once you can figure out EXACTLY how much pressure to use. I don't dig it all that much.

I use a glue stick and Photo mounting squares.

Thanks for the heads up.  I don't really do scrapbooking, but altered, journals, and wallets made from that paper.  I'm always tempted to see if I could take that stuff there for a 'night session'.  I forgot to mention...if you keep an eye out for Michaels, Joanns, and Hobby Lobby...they usually have sales on the paper.  Like the 59 cent ones are .29, or 5 for a buck.

I have seen people work on altered books in there Friday Night Scrap sessions, so I don't think it'd be an issue.

And for the big hardware... those kinds of places also usually run a 40% off weekly coupon too. That's how I buy a lot of my alphabet sizzix dies.

Another thing that you can do too, is invest in a Xyron macheine. You can make stickers out of everything!!

There's a scrapbooking store called Archivers - they also have a web site and mailing list - that offers "Scrapbooking Nights' where you bring what you need to work on and can use their tools, copy machine, and other things for free.  I've never been to one of these sessions, but I believe you get a discount on supplies then, too.

The only way you get the discount is if you a member of thier club. Awesome store.... awesome stuff, and I miss mine terribly!!

The big box stores (Wal Mart and Target) are good at finding stuff cheap too, "Clearance" anyone? Like today I picked up some Christmas tree brads and some Chirstmas paper for $3 total.

Behr makes this really cool purply/silver/grey color. We used it to make the inside of a "batcave" for my nephew. And then we took some watered down black flat paint and did the shading for the "bricks".
