11  Candy Sundae - totally sweet!!! IMAGE & CALORIE HEAVY!! in Completed Projects by sewingcybermom on: June 18, 2008 11:03:56 PM
Ok, I was looking to make something great for my son's girlfriend's graduation..something different, so I found out what kind of candy she liked, and this is what I came up with.  It is about 19" tall, and filled to the brim with candy.  This is my Sweet Sundae!! Of course I gave her a nice card with some well deserved cash too.  Compliments and criticisms welcome!!

I was away for a few days, got home and look at what I got!!  I love everything!  The pouch is made really well, and I love the colors. It has a cute little bumble bee charm on it. Along with it I got some really nice fabric (how did you know I like blue?), a great little handmade card, and the neatest little needle pouch. It had a pair of tiny embroidery scissors in it and a few needles also. I love everything...I think I hit the jackpot with my swap partner!! Oh, and it was wrapped so nicely in tissue paper....it's amazing how much we have in common!

14  A Robot Bathingsuit! in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by sewingcybermom on: May 15, 2008 08:11:27 PM
Hi everyone!  My daughter has taken over my sewing machines!!! No kidding, she came home from college with one thing on her mind...making clothes.  She made a dress that she posted here a week or so ago, made a cute top that I don't think she has posted yet, but I'm posting her bathing suit for her...she did an awesome job!  She figured out how to use my elasticator on my serger... my coverstitch machine, and she came up with this.....Her robot bikini. Oh yea, she figured out how to set up and use my MB4 embroidery machine too!!  I'm so proud of her! She's too chicken to model it in person, but she pretty much looks like the maniquin anyway..

20  Re: TUTORIAL: Make a Lined Zippered Pouch in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by sewingcybermom on: January 03, 2007 09:35:09 PM
I'm pretty sure I used this tute to make mine too....here they are! I added a wrist strap, but a bit differently. I only attach one end while I sew up the side. Then I attach a swivel hook to the end of the strap, connect it to the zipper pull and this actually opens the bag, but when you close it it creates your wrist strap!
