1  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Blue Zebra Covered Computer Chair! on: January 18, 2007 09:07:46 PM
I've been wanting to do this from a "found" office chair (read dumpster dive).  Any tips?  Did you somehow take the cushion off of the back plastic parts?  I have a staple gun and know how to use it.  Cheesy

Thanks for posting this!  I KNEW it could be done!

Sadly i'm not that skilled at all.. or well i'm not that motivated too but really all i did was take the existing ugly chair, take the fabric and measure, pin, cut, and glue gun/staple gun as needed.

I'm not that ambitious - if you do that i give you applause cause i'd be too scared to rip apart my computer chair.

4  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Re: Any clues on this crochet technique? on: January 18, 2007 03:06:15 PM
oh my god i wish i had crocheting skills because i would make a hat out of that so it would resemble a brain reef - i was scrolling through the recent posts and saw that and imediately pictured a coral reef hat LOL
