1  Baby Bobble Sweater in Knitting: Completed Projects by Katiemaggs on: June 20, 2007 10:18:05 AM
Here is the Debbie Bliss Baby Bobble Sweater from her Cotton Knits book.  I have been working on it on and off for quite awhile and just finished it a few weeks ago for my younger daughter.  Because Mollypops turned out to be really long, I put an extra row of bobbles on the bottom and on the sleeves to lengthen them a little.  I did that by picking up stitches so that I wouldn't have to frog the whole thing.
I used some Debbie Bliss yarn, cotton/wool blend that I found during one of Webs big sales.  I think it was actually the recommended yarn.
Thanks for looking!

2  Mermaid T-shirt in Needlework: Completed Projects by Katiemaggs on: May 15, 2007 07:19:10 AM
Hello!  Here are links to my first attempt at embroidery.  I wanted to learn how to embroider so I could finish a knitted dress for my daughter.  Now, I don't know why I waited so long, I want to embroider everything!
I checked out the beautiful projects and helpful hints in this forum and was totally inspired.  I took a birthday invitation my daughter received, traced it, transferred it to the t-shirt, and used tear away stabilizer.  I was mostly happy with how it turned out, except I wish my satin stitch was more even on the edges and that the bottom of her face didn't look like a beard!
Thank you for looking and for inspiring!
