Sure, AdiaStar! As long as you are just making it for yourself or a friend or family member, I don't mind people recreating my things or "borrowing" my ideas. It's the whole stealing them and selling/trading them to profit themselves that gets me.

And, of course, every little girl needs a cupcake hat! Stitch away Cheesy

I totally understand!  Thanks so much.  The KIWI Scarf is for me.  Yum Yum!
And the hats, for my daughter and nieces.

Take Care!

Incredible!  Shocked You are on talented Hooker!

My fave is the Kiwi scarf(they are my fave fruit), must make one!  Do you mind if I "borrow your idea"?  Huh

Also that cupcake hat, must make for the little girls I know!!!

Work like yours keeps me motivated to continue with crocheting when I feel like I can't do it.   Grin

Keep up the great work!

Thanks for the compliments and comments.  Try as hard as I can I can't seem to make that "mistake" again!  It Figures!   Grin
Off to make a few more ponchos for birthday gifts.

Any pattern suggestions for little girls?  Clothing, toys, bags?  All the girls I know are 5 and under.

Thanks again!

20  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Poncho and Hat for my niece on: September 28, 2006 10:33:54 AM
I made a poncho and hat for my nieces' 5th b-day.  This is my first time doing a poncho and a hat.  I think they came out all right for a first timer.  Although I did make a mistake on the poncho pattern.  I did something too many times in one row which made the poncho really ruffly(sp?), but I hope she likes it anyway.
I used the Lacy Shell poncho pattern and Granny Skull Cap from http://www.luv2crochet.com/freepatterns.html

Hat: My husband suggested putting the flower on the top of the hat and I really liked that idea.  What do you think?

I cannot remember what website I got the flower pattern from.
I used Red Heart super saver yarn.
Sorry for all the pics, was having fun with the digi cam.

What do you gals/guys think?
