Wow, thanks so much four your encouraging replies:D:D:D

I shall be posting more:>

@peppercream: what about second hand shops? you can find crazy, destroyed things in lovely fabrics that normally need just a good wash. Or aunts, or grandmas?

Hello again,

I found this fabric in a flea market, and I made it half and half with a good friend. Here is what is did with it!

A very practical everyday bag:)

You can see here that I already filled it up with junk, so it's a good sign:)

And these are closeups of the 2 beauties

What do you think?

Hi,

I am not sure if this is the right place to post it, but I will go with my instinct this once. (I think i can hear the admins push the pins into my voodoo:D)

I made a couple of doodles for embroidery and I wanted to share and hear your opinion.

So here they are:

the lazy bear http://skyturtle.files.wordpress.com/2008/10/lazy_bear_web.jpg
the curious flowers http://skyturtle.files.wordpress.com/2008/10/curious_flowers_web.jpg
the shy tulip http://skyturtle.files.wordpress.com/2008/10/shy_tulip_web.jpg
and an organic flowery, more abstract pattern. http://skyturtle.files.wordpress.com/2008/10/floral_organic_web.jpg

Waiting for your opinion and if anyone gets to try them please post the results, I am dead curious:)

All the best,

Ina
