22  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / I have over 5000 bottle caps!!! HELP!!! on: February 27, 2006 02:54:57 AM
A friend of mine gave me a huge box of used beer bottle caps. It kinda sucks that they are beer bottle caps because I don't think there is really a demand for them. I cleaned them in the washer... that was fun! I will never mess with used bottle caps again... what a pain! Anyone know what I can do with these?  Anyone have any ideas? I think I might be wasting my time trying to create something out of them...

If anyone wants some caps... make me an offer. I can't see using all of these. I've hand sorted them also... so no garbage ones. Most did get scratched up during the cleaning process. Ran the washer 3 times. Shhhh... my wife doesn't know...

23  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / All Wired Up... A Sneak Peak... on: February 27, 2006 02:47:10 AM
Anyone like roses? I think they are fun to make and wire wrap into delightful pendants. Example of my latest one.

One of my newer pieces... wire wrapped polymer clay...

Anyone ever use the Dicrofex Paints for Scrapbooking? They are originally used with polymer clay but leave a nice sheen on paper.

25  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / My first rolled paper art collage pendant on: February 16, 2006 11:12:20 PM
I was inspired by a fellow craftster (Tigergirl) who took chopsticks and did this type of method of making a pendant. I quickly printed out three photos... originally four... and rolled and pasted together. Very easy to do also. I was thinking about adding some "fun fur" material coming out from the bottom... but don't have any "fun fur".

26  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Opinions... Wire Wrap Pendants... on: February 04, 2006 11:01:24 AM
People seem to marvel over my wire wrapping. I've even been called a "professional". I'm a little more modest than than though. I've been wire wrapping for two years and haven't taken an classes. My wire wrapping just seems to come to me... based on what I'm wrapping. I've been combining my polymer clay work with my wire wrapping skills.  Just wanted some opinions...

Made this one today... wire wrapped dichroic glass...
