11  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / Link Ebay or not? on: August 20, 2006 02:35:48 PM
I sell on ebay and my own website. My prices on ebay are way way lower than the prices on my site. Should I link my Ebay auctions to my website? I've currently deleted the link to my auctions. I want to know if anyone thinks it would help or hurt sales. The thing is... I sell alot of jewelry on ebay but most of my high demand tutorials on my site. What to do... what to do... grrr.

12  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / 3D Mica Shift Clay Vase on: July 29, 2006 03:50:01 AM
I've posted a picture of my first mica shift vase in another forum. Some may have seen it already. The vase looks textured... but it's not! It's actually flat to the touch. It's like a 3D ghosting effect that you can do with metallic clays... called Mica Shift. This is my first vase. It's glass but covered with clay. The black part is not clay.

13  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Wire Wrapped Polymer Clay... on: July 29, 2006 12:41:48 AM
Some of you know me here and other message boards. I wanted to show off a few of my newest wire wrapped polymer clay beads. These beads where created by fellow polymer clay artist Jenn Edwards. I specialize in wire wrapping and sometimes make my own beads.

I'm known for my wire wrapping but made some polymer clay beads a few days ago. The Serpant Goddess beads where made from molds and accented with Pearl Ex. Just wanted to show this sold set off.

I'm a coiling wire fool now! Each pendant took over 7 feet of wire to make. I wanted to show off my newest pretty babies.

18  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / My best polymer clay piece ever!!! on: March 15, 2006 05:47:02 PM
I had to show off this awesome piece I made last night. I hope others appricate my work as much as I do. I think polymer clay is one of the less known mediums. It's very durable also! I made the polymer clay cab and wire wrapped it in 20 gauge sterling silver.
