Hey! Just found this thread- its great! Appleshannon- i love how you made the centre of the peacock feather your eye, it looks amazing (but did you ever go out like that?)
I did this make up practicing for my leavers ball- it worked a lot better in the practice than it did on the night, but thats life!

I photoshopped it a bit, and this was my result- i absolutely love this photo of me, loads of ppl cldnt believe it was actually me! he he. photoshop is great Cheesy

2  Tee--> Bag- Tips and Ideas Wanted! in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions by CaterinaEllen on: May 13, 2006 02:56:29 PM

Ive got this tee that I adore but is a bit to small for me, so I'm thinking about turning it into a bag, but as it's made of jersey fabric I was wondering if anyone had any tips on using the fabric, or any ideas on what kind of bag to make it into. I'm quite good at totes, and I've made a lot of them in the past, but I'm feeling a bit more adventurous. The Kids on the front are both stuffed and are pockets, so in theory could be moved about anywhere. Anyway- heres the pics and any ideas or advice is very welcome!! Its about a UK size 10, which I think is a US 12.

Thanks very much,

3  Re: Futurama Swap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by CaterinaEllen on: April 05, 2006 02:58:04 AM
Well here you are.. all the amazing stuff I got from KinkyKnit Cheesy If you're thinking it got here super-fast, england is a LOT smaller than america, its probably smaller than some states! Here is the amazingness (its quite piccy heavy):

A folder with loads of futurama quotes to make my lessons more exciting and a Slurm cosy Cheesy I've used it already, drinking Lemonade and dreaming that it was slurm!

The Inside of the Folder- it's for college, so the college quote is very relevant Grin

Amazing L plates (learner driver) which say "seatbelts to the maximum buckling" for when I learn to drive (I've got my first lesson today, in a simulator because I dont turn 17 until the 18th) Cheesy theyre great Cheesy

An amazing "Planet Express" Tee in my favourite colour with stripes!! Go stripes! Its really comfy and fits perfectly!

And last but definatley not least, Bender "Bite my shiny metal Ass" knickers! They rule! I'm contemplating wearing them on top of my clothes they're so cool!
It all arrived in a pizza box (not the folder, coz that wouldnt fit) but how cool is that? A pizza box!! Thanks so much KinkyKnit, I hope you love your package as much as I love mine Cheesy

4  Cupcake Shoes! in CHALLENGE 10 ENTRIES by CaterinaEllen on: April 04, 2006 04:37:51 AM
This is my 1st ever entry into a craft challenge on craftster, and it's not fabulous compared to everyone else's entries, but I adore these shoes!
I started off with some worn out pink shoes I got 3 years ago...

And I thought.. whats looks good with pink... Cupcakes!!! (or fairy cakes as we call em here in angleterre!) So I attacked them with some yellow ribbon (never, ever, ever sew ribbon onto leather shoes without a thimble. my hands had holes in them for weeks after!)  and some glittery fabrick/gold fabric/cool button cupcakes that i made, and voila:

Cupcake shoes Cheesy

7  Re: Diaper Bag with Elastic Pocket TUTORIAL in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by CaterinaEllen on: March 03, 2006 08:46:32 AM
Thanks for the idea Kokolo! I made one for my newborn cousin, Freya- the bag is much bigger than her!!

This is it:

Its only got one pocket, but its got another inside and a changing mat in matching (wipe-able) fabric. My mum and I filled it up with girly pressies for her and her mum to enjoy Cheesy

At the bottom of it I put a piece of card covered in the wipeable fabric, which you can take out if you wash it.

Thats what I came up with. To cut my CD, I just scored lines and then snapped it.

Thanks a lot Inna for the brilliant idea Cheesy

9  Odd Earrings----> Cool Phone Charms!! in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by CaterinaEllen on: February 01, 2006 09:27:01 AM
Hey- I was sorting through my earrings recently and found a load of odd ones which i really liked, but would never wear as odd earrings so I decided to make phone charms out of them- I found the top of the charm on www.jillybeads.co.uk for 20p each (about 36 cents), and I also found a bit of extender chain that had broken off a necklace:

and After ( the pic of the third charm is really bad- sorry. I took some pictures and they came out terrible so I took some more, but by this time I'd wrapped the third one up to give my friend)

They only took me about 5 minutes to make and I think they're fab! When I get a new phone, I'm going to put one on it  (my phone atm doesnt have anywhere to put it, but my contracts finishing in a month)

10  Work in progress- comments/tips welcome in More Art, Less Craft: Discussion and Questions by CaterinaEllen on: January 24, 2006 03:31:57 PM

Ive been working on this piece of work for my AS in Art, and I was wondering if I could have some opinions for my final piece. This is my experimentation at the moment-

And this is what it looks like with text-

What do you think? Do you think that the text looks ok? If you're wondering, the image is a doll abstracted quite a lot and the words are all in italian. This is my first post with photos, so if they dont work please message me so I can try and sort it out. Thanks alot everyone,
