1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Latest creations on: July 07, 2008 11:44:32 AM
So for some reason my life is like this: plenty of time - gets nothing done. Works a lot, have foreigners in the house, needs to clean up, and have like a million things to do - gets everything done. yes, sometimes stress is just helping out : )

Over the last couple of days I have been doing this:

(look at my arms, not the lame-ass pose)
I cannot wear pretty dresses without sleeves because people tend to pay more attention to my arms than to the dress.. and me!

a shrug! (or whatever you would call it)
I would never ear it without anything underneath.

sleeve detail:

and another one!
(I am so sorry that you have to look at my bra... and my fat)

I thought about spicing it up with some bottons or bows, but I got so angry with the knit fabric... it feels like stretch until you sow something with it, then it becomes completely stiff.

I also did this shirt, because I loved the fabric (free fabric is the best fabric)

I came by a second hand, and the lady offered me an excellent prize on this curtain, I fell in love with the lace, and made a dress. I think it makes my ass look huge, but I love it (the skirt, not my behind being enlarged)

it is made of three layers, first tulle, then black fabric and then the lace x3

I am a sucker for bows and lace an ribbon : )~

I almost forgot! there is more! I am going to camp next week, and my team (15 kids in the age of 6 - 14) is going to wear these wests. it is sort of a long story why we decided that our team should be a "motorcycle club" but it is going to be fun : )

I made 17 west with the same stencil on the back.... siiiiiigh.....

the children are going to wear this:

the teamleaders are going to wear this:

Thanks for looking!
this is what you do not see! the ugliness behind it all :
My Mess!

I hope you will have an excellent summer : )
2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / we all live in a yellow summery dress.....yellow summery dress...(WARNING: pigs) on: May 23, 2008 04:02:47 AM

Yes I am posing I know... and I am sorry, but it just makes it look better ; )

Its pretty obvious I guess... I had a Shirt and a curtain. I cut the sleeves off the Tee, and used them for the upper part. The rest was attached with the curtain on top of it.
Then I took a long ribbon and sewed it on all the way front and back.

Thanks for looking, and please do not be shy to ask, because I am not shy to answar : )
3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / a curtain a pair of pants and baby blue ribbon on: March 14, 2008 03:47:40 PM
had a pair of oversized leggins and a lot of those "half" curtains laying around, and suddenly I could just picture it as a dress.

sorry for the lame into-a-mirror pics, had no other option. stupid camera has no self-timer.

pants... "leggins"

I cut op the inside seem of the leggins. (Yes, the leggins are the black stuff that hangs from my boobs)
(don't judge my bellyfat please >_<

was playing with the thought of making it into a blouse...

then I sow (sewed??) the leggins inner seems, so that it made kind of a pencil skirt. Took a bit of the length off. Took the elastic off (pushes the fat between my arms and my bust out -  in an unflattering way).
The hard thing was to sew the curtain on. I only sewed it along the edges of the dress, and aroud the zigzag on the back. basicaly its all held up by the blue ribbon.

OMG my thieghs >_<

My sister said something nice to me, for the first time in years, when she saw this dress. She looked at me and bursted "How sweet!" because of the baby-blue ribbon. Okey so shes got horrible taste, and shes in her early teens, but it still made me feel so great that I thought you guys should see this. I hope I inspire you.. Or that you at least had fun looking : )
sorry for the grammar. I'm sooo tired.

have a crafty day Cheesy
4  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / the cardboardboxes you would normaly throw away + gold on: January 26, 2008 03:42:43 AM
This is a pretty old idea, when I was younger we used to make these out of match-boxes. my barbiedolls used to have interior made this way : )

what I did:
I found these things(shoe boxes and the like, tape and spraypaint)

Arranged the boxes, and taped them together

-...And spraypainted it(I wanted to do a colage, but I lacked basic things)

The product I

did all of this, but with different boxes. I used 3 boxes of toffifee, a box of choklates, a box from something my parrents had shared and a tiny box from some china I got for christmas.

wow I didn't realize how bad I am at spraypainting.

I was fun, and it helped me calm down after i had had a dream about suddently having 3 piercings in my lip that refused to heal... stupid subconciusness.

I hope I haven't wasted your time : )
5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Pearls and ruffles on: November 09, 2007 07:00:10 AM
Someone threw out some clothes and my mum showed it to me before she send it to the red cross. There was this plain and boring green skirt that fitted me really well. It was in my closset collecting dust until last week when I was sketching skirts and found out that there was hope for it!

Here is basicly what I did ( I know you people, you dont read, you look Wink

1) I cut the skirt in the shape I wanted and sewed along the edges.
2) I made ruffles of old curtains.
3) The skirt had two layers, so it was easy to sew the ruffles onto the first layer (which I hadn't been cutting in)
4) finished result, ready to be prettied up with pearls.

Back (never mind the lovehandles >_<

I added this lace thingy that I have cut off a really ugly blouse about a month ago and pearls ofcourse Smiley

A guy at school told me it looked like I had put on a gigant penis, so I redid the front.

No English is not my first langue, please dont get aggresive when you read my misspellings and grammarmistakes.

♥ Thank you ♥

7  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / bondage belt for the people. on: June 14, 2006 02:45:28 AM
I desperately wanted a bondage belt after seeing this:

So I bought some bondage-rings, and a cheap belt without anything on it, and then....

I played with some grommets and a hammer (I'm dangerous with a hammer!!)

an then...:'D :
tadaa... I'm not very good at this, but I actually succeeded ^^!

Then for the whole bondage thing:

I had some lack (is that the name :\? ) that i used to make the rings stay on the belt with. It took me forever because the belt is so heavy.. and I have no leatherneedle.. didnt have patience to walk 2,5 km to the nearest town (living on the contry sucks big time)

this is the outcome ^_^ :
http://www.guu.dk/data/100/original/185/craftyness%20033.jpg <-- Im so crasy about those cuffs xD

Sorry for the faces... iots diffy to look good when you are to nervous to stand up streight, because of those damn examns.. I have german today >_> Mumma I don't wanna!!!! /cry.

but I haven't taken my belt of since ^^ it has costed me like 1/4 of a normal bondage belt (if not less : )

recons are LOVELY ^_^!
8  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / long glowes thingy on: May 30, 2006 08:25:38 AM

9  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / French maid on: February 19, 2006 06:58:35 AM
a friend of mine asked if I could do some egl stuff, and of course I said yes. Then I asked for keywords for it, because its hard just to sew a style, I needed to know what elegant Gothic Lolita actually was all about. "just think maid" he told me, and then I did this:

I look like a maid, not egl >_o but fastalavn (danish tradition.. were you dress up and sing in front of peoples doors, gets candy.. theres a lot more too it, but its like.. Halloween without all the scary things.. ) is coming up, and I needed a costume anyway ^^

Its made out of an old fastalavn's dress and curtains. the laces is of curse the curtains. It has costed me NOTHING at all... I love when people throw out old stuff that I can use ^^

what do you think? is this a costume or an egl dress : )?
10  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Discussion and Questions / Need helpish ;0;! on: February 19, 2006 05:54:25 AM
Yesterday I handdrew a stencil and cut it out, stencilled it on a shirt and then played with the colours. But then this morning I take a look at the finished work andstarts coursing. The stencil's great, but the shirt's empty now. Does anyone have a killer idea for what else to do to it ?

This is the stencil (on paper) :

this is the shirt as it looks right now:

and a close up on the stencil... I used 30 minuets or such to play with the colours ( i love my new white paint ^^!)

Please help! it could be anything! text, coloursplashes, figures..everything, I just need to get it done, and the creative part of my brain has gone egl, and that style puts an end to creativity X_x

and Im still very very sorry that my english is that bad.
