I am in! What do I have to do?

Nothing special.  Check back to this post on October 1st and see the first months squares.  Make one or both of them and then post a picture of them in this thread if you want to share them with us.  Then on the 1st of each month, check here for the new square patterns

evildeadgirl received the tiny item I sent her and since she's been sick, I offered to post a picture of what I sent.

This is the first octopus I have made and I sure had fun with it.  If I remember correctly (I did measure), he's around 2" high.

The button (I assume that's what it is) about the hidden camera is hilarious  Shocked

I have soooo got to get me some of those cotton candy flavored lollipops...and share with the kids...I guess...

I guess NOT!  You don't have to share everything with them, you can keep something to yourself - that's what I tell myself whenever I get some non-chocolate candy in a swap  Grin  I give my family all the chocolate (since I am allergic to it) but the other stuff is MINE!
5705  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: My I-Spy quilt (first project post!) on: September 19, 2006 05:32:01 PM
That is one fantastic quilt - it's not at all too loud, it's just right!

Think of the fun this little boy is going to have when he's a bit older and can start looking for things.

I started working on this swap today - headed to the local craft store and found some wonderful items.  But, I came across one item that I have no idea what it is - can anyone tell me:

27) Kewpie doll

craftydeb, is it possible that someone sent you something 'just because' and you aren't supposed to know who it was from?

Did it have a return address or just a post mark?
5708  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: Jar Quilt **NOW WITH TUTORIAL!!** Image Heavy! on: September 19, 2006 05:13:28 PM
I'm working on one right now and I wouldn't call it easy - more like medium and time consuming!

I also wanted to add that kitty1256 has been a great help to me, answering all my questions!

I claim ChloeisCrazy for:

- a large sized amigurumi

This is my 3rd claim (1 has been received)

I keep adding items in hopes that someone will see something they want to make and send me :-)

I'm in Alberta, Canada.

A tablecloth (70" x 50") with a snowflake, sunflower or leaf themed fabric.

I'd love a plush teddy bear - around 12" would be great!

A butcher style apron (adult large) with no pockets (see my likes below for fabric ideas.)

A knitting apron like this:  https://www.craftster.org/forum/msg971894 but with different fabric.

A crochet hook roll in a bright flower pattern.

Carrier for a 9x13 pan, with handles

12” squares for a craftster quilt - I like pretty rather than creepy - any colors or patterns are fine but if you need ideas, check out this website:  http://www.quilterscache.com/BlocksbySizeC.html

Cross Stitch

A picture featuring a snowman or sunflowers.

I like watches that have 'fun' designs on the face or in the band.

Something from your country (preferrably not Canada or the US.)

If you want to throw in an extra with any of the above wishes, I'm looking for pens with cool, wacky designs on them.  The more outlandish they are, the less likely someone is to steal them when I work!

I have themes in my house each season so I like things made with sunflowers, tulips, scarecrows, snowmen or snowflakes.  I also like dark green and dark blue.

I can't believe they got to you so fast!

I know how you feel craftydeb - I mailed to ooak_diva on Wednesday from the west coast of Canada (where I was on holidays) and she got the package today (Monday) on the east coast of the US.  Packages never travel that fast when I send them from home  Grin
