I hope it is not to late too join.I love making afghans.Thank you

Not late at all!

In fact, I hope that once this gets started we will pick up others (once they see pictures of the wonderful squares we are making.)  I'm part of the quilt square craft along that only has 3 months to go and people are still joining and catching up.

He's adorable and, IMO, much cuter than the original in the pattern - I think it's the colors you used  Grin

Miss Betty Orange is adorable and reminds me of my friend!

While they look nothing alike, my friend would spend her Sunday listening to the same music and watching the same movies  Grin

I'm not sure if this really qualifies as an amigurumi since it's so large but that's what I am calling it.

In one of the Ongoing Wish Swaps, I chose to make someone a large amigurumi thinking it would be easy to find patterns.  Well, I quickly learned that was not true.  In my mind, an amigurumi should be made totally of single crochet and most large animals I found, weren't.  So when I saw this swan and realized it was totally single crochet, that's the pattern I chose.

It's a little different that the original since I could not get the whole mouth section to look proper according to the pattern.  So, I modified the pattern to what I thought looked best.

Any comments or suggestions are welcome!

I just finished the survey - wow, it really made me think!  I found some of the questions hard, especially the ones where we had to fill in the blank and then rate how others saw you.  Sure got me thinking...
