11  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / Re: Retro Dining Room Decor w/ Lots'a Photos!!!! on: February 07, 2009 08:41:03 PM
I love the retro dining room...and all of the red!  I think a light 50's yellow would look cool or a retro aqua.  Can't wait to see what you decide. Good Luck.

Purrrrfect!  I love it.  I have four cats and my roommate has one so litter boxes can be an issue.  I too have searched the web for solutions and the cabinets they sell are both expensive and not usually very attractive.  I really like the Ikea cabinet idea.  It looks great.  I also recently saw a craftster post where a creative women made a litter box cabinet from a vintage television set.  Thanks for sharing.  You may have just saved my next guests from litter box doom!

HEH, HEH, HEH, HEH!  You definately get my vote....lol  That is great and made me smile.  Every girl needs a cozy like that and something fabulous for it to cover.  Maybe next you can make cozies for the batteries....lol Wink  Thanks for the laugh.
16  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Re: One Eyed Purple Craft Trash Eating Monster on: August 29, 2008 07:33:27 AM
I love this little guy or gal or it!  Whenever I am doing my craft or fabric projects I end up dragging the kitchen trash can out next to the sewing machine in the dining room,(the craft room for me is still just a fantasy!).  Unfortunately, I forget I put it there so every time I do anything like cook in the kitchen I find myself running back and forth to the dining toom to find the thrash..Aghh.  This is a great idea and fun to boot!  Might have to make one for my mom too!  Thanks for the inspiration and I will look forward to a tut if I don't wing it first!

The patio looks amazing!  I have always wanted a retro fridge, but knew it would hold enough food in my kitchen.  Now I am inspired to get one.  I just need to find a husband to refinish it for me...lol.

Well done!  I saw that other post too and was inspired, but have yet to start a project.  I do have two chairs in the back I have been meaning to recover, but it isn't as big a project as you have accomploished.  You did good!
