Next up, from KittyKurl (both my partners deserved their own post, I thought).

Gorgeous music-themed notecards. I wish the picture quality was higher so you could see the Victorian/Art Nouveau images better, but trust me, they're lovely.

These fantastic vinyl coasters, based on ones in my wists. The hand-painting is beautiful.

A totally adorable wall painting/hot pad. Gnome Sweet Gnome. Heh.

And if that weren't enough:

This great little zippered pouch. The top fabric is cotton and very vintage-y and the bottom is corduroy. It's perfect for me and I love it.

Thanks very much, KittyKurl, for being such a terrific and thoughtful swap partner!

Sorry it's taken me forever to post these-- I got two fabulous packages from my two fabulous partners, chloeiscrazy and KittyKurl, and then got sick for basically this entire month.  Don't take my slowness as a reflection on their gorgeous work!

First, from chloeiscrazy:

three adorable sewn headbands!

freezer paper, fabric paint, sponges and stamps to do my own t-shirts!

assorted ATC goodies!

more ATC goodies!

findings, doo-dads, hoo-has...

adorable felt beads...

and last, but certainly not least, the most awesome sushi fabric ever!

thanks so much, chloeiscrazy-- I can't wait to use all my great new stuff!

Here's what Moonoverbrooklyn sent to me. You all are not going to believe that this is her first swap! It arrived yesterday and I am STILL in awe.

First, a gorgeous silver necklace with a city skyline. Moonoverbrooklyn, I'm dying to know how you made this!

Blurry action shot of same. The length is perfect.

Clay Food! A piece of chocolate cake, s'mores ingredients, and what I am pretty sure is an ice cream sandwich. And a darn cute one at that. In the foreground is a yarn needle, for size reference.

Two lovely pen-and-ink drawings of celtic knots, framed. Craftster won't let me upload these at a very high resolution, so you'll just have to trust me that the stipple shading is very impressive.

Last, but certainly not least, she batiked six fabric panels for me! They're each about 8x8 (but catpants, don't get any ideas!)

The one in the lower right hand corner of the first picture says "I [heart] " and has a picture of a gnome. Does she have my number or what?

Thanks very much for everything, Moonoverbrooklyn! I've had a blast swapping with you and continue to be incredibly impressed with all of my loot. Cheesy

Here's pics of what I sent to Moonoverbrooklyn.

Some mary jane crocheted slippers, which unfortunately didn't turn out *quite* big enough! (but her sister is reaping the benefits)

The buttons are hot pink and are vintage. I got 'em from Taloola in another swap. Smiley

Sushi potholders! These are a specialty of mine.

A headband with cute froggies on, since Moonoverbrooklyn is a big animal person:

And lastly, a lined zippered pouch with ric-rac handle and sock monkeys on!

I'm glad you liked everything, Moonoverbrooklyn!

The rest of you, wait till you see what she sent me! Coming up...

Okay, gang, I caved and opened the package from the amazing Rackycoo.

Are you ready?

I thought not.

So, Rackycoo and I decided to do a travel-themed swap, and if you'll excuse the pun, she really went above and beyond.

Here are way, way too many pictures:

Racky made a gorgeous swap journal, which I believe is totally handmade (true, Racky?)

My husband was pleased to see his beloved home state showcased on the cover. Wink

Here's the inside, and a shot of the spine.

A purseket with a hand-painted gnome. My camera didn't seem to like the texture of the fabric, but it's a dark/black denim.

Interior, with more gnomes!

A BEAUTIFUL hand-carved gnome stamp:

The "positive" image is the front of the card she sent. Isn't it great?

An Altoid-tin first aid kit, complete with picture of Nurse Ratched. She'll scare ya out of needing a bandaid, for sure.

Interior. Love the old-timey advertisement in the lid.

Matching pill case!

A (blurry picture of a) gnome necklace, painted on a scrabble tile. Love it. Action shot photo turned out even worse than this pic did, but the necklace length is perfect.

and last, but certainly not least, my HTC! Ain't my date cute?

Thank you SO MUCH, Racky-- you are a super-talented crafter and an incredibly generous swap partner. I can only hope my items for you are half as well-received.

Hi everybody! Okay, so first of all I sincerely apologize for taking so long to post pics-- I was crazy busy and then I got sick. Without further ado:

The amazing ATC kit and vintage fabric I received from purrpower! She sent a ton of cool paper, pictures, and assorted doo-dads.

Thank you so much, I can't wait till I get a chance to play with everything!

Next up, the incredible shirts craftydeb made for my sweetie. She made two: a PlayStation themed one and a Yertle the Turtle one. I didn't get a pic of the Yertle one-- it is already in the laundry basket, it was such a huge hit. He loves this one too!

Last but certainly not least, Samsara sent me THREE beautiful necklaces! They are all so different, but so lovely.

A domino necklace:

A microscope slide necklace (sorry it's blurry-- shiny and hard to photograph!):

And an absolutely breathtaking necklace made of broken and melted CD pieces:

That last one cries out for a special occasion, don't you think?

Thanks SO MUCH, everybody. I love all the incredible packages I got, and I'm sorry it took me a few days to show 'em off publicly!

Now that my cold fog seems to have lifted (hurrah!), I am delighted to bring you all pictures of my swap goodies from irid3sc3nt.

First, this amazing 50's style ruffly apron (love!):

(Sorry it's blurry and not an action shot. The boy's been too busy to accomodate my craftster madness recently)

Next, an adorable Japanese-esque bag (perfect makeup-size):

An altered Altoids tin, made into a travel knit kit:

inside of which were:

GNOMES!! (see the nickel for scale?)

She also sent a magazine

and an adorable tiny knitting charm (I want a charm bracelet and this is a perfect start!)

Thank you SO MUCH, irid3sc3nt, everything is amazing! You are and continue to be, a phenomenal swap partner.

I received the best package from Rosali a few days ago! Sorry it took me a bit to post pics-- work has totally interfered with my crafting and craftster lifestyle the past few days!

Here they are, without further ado.

Two video-game related crafts, which have made the boy very very happy: an awesome Zelda pillow and a coordinating Super Mario tissue holder! She also reconned this little black and white photo album, which you can only sort of see in the picture. But it's adorable.

She made this amazing red messenger bag, which I have been proudly carrying with me everywhere ever since. It's the perfect size for all my stuff, and...

it has a fabulous white velvet (velveteen?) lining, complete with a red cellphone pocket that does double duty as a MetroCard holder.

She also sent LOADS of crisps, probably half of which have already been gobbled up!   (I note with some embarrassment how you can totally see one of several overflowing bookshelves in the background here.)

Thanks so much, rosali-- I love everything. This was a really great swap!

I do, but no action shots, alas! Here's pictures of what I sent to rosali.

She asked for crocheted flowers and a knitted headband, so I did that:

The four-leaf clover and the gerbera daisy are my favorites. I also found a package of pin backs in my stash, so as she wanted to use the flowers as brooches, I threw those in. Smiley

A cotton yarn version of the argyle headband that another craftster designed. Because my gauge was different, I adjusted the pattern a little and wound up with more flattened-looking diamonds.  I love the colors, though.

Little crocheted earrings that match the headband.

My couch, modeling the crocheted capelet I made. I knew she'd admired one liebschien made for someone a while back, so I used that as inspiration and fiddled with a poncho design I found online. Also made of a cotton (blend?) yarn. Rosali, I'd love to see an action shot of this one, even if it's blurry!

So glad you liked everything! I had a blast, and I still have plenty of materials left to do a Round 2 (and 3, and 4...).

I received from the lovely Cassia! Here's a pic of the whole shebang.

She sent a monster pillow (her first stuffie! didn't she do a GREAT job?), a plastic bin for storing and organizing beads and other craft goodies, and a whole bunch of CANDY! (or rather, sweets)

thanks so much, Cassia! This was a terrific and super-thoughtful birthday gift!
