beautiful top! if you don't mind my asking, does it stay up alright? that's what always stops me from wearing tube tops.

6  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Ravelry! Extra invites... on: August 16, 2007 01:15:42 AM
I signed up on the 13th and there are now 364 people ahead of me--about 200 less than there were this morning, I think.  I'm hoping for Monday or Tuesday.

you signed up on the 13th of august? or did you mean june or july? if you're that far up in line, you moved pretty fast....
 Cry i'm jealous
7  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Entrelac bag & Snowflake on: August 15, 2007 07:15:51 PM
i have the same question as radioactivepenquin....

is the bag made from two rectangles?

i ask becauase i have some circular handles but i've put off using them because i'm not quite sure what shape to make the front and back panels.

awesome work, by the way. knitted toys are the best.
8  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Dayflower and branching out scarves- Yes I'm a little behind the curve on: August 15, 2007 07:13:14 PM

9  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: When do you find time to knit? on: August 10, 2007 06:29:13 PM
i know, i always wonder too. i work til 7pm and get home at 8pm. by the time i get home, eat, and clean up, it's time for bed and not much time for crafting.  Sad because of this, i usually stick to smaller projects rather than big things like sweaters......someday i hope to have the time for those things, but i just don't right now. i've actually been taking my knitting to work with me and going to the cafe on my lunch break to knit.....not much time, but at least it's something.

don't feel bad....you're not the only one who doesn't have a lot of time to finish a lot of projects.

plus, you're probably feeling the new knitter excitment.....when i started knitting, i was so overwhelmed by all the projects i wanted to knit someday. you'll calm down a bit. Smiley
10  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: anyone ever knit this? bunny hop camisole on: August 10, 2007 06:23:46 PM
heh heh, guess it's not a popular pattern. i thought it would be a nice shirt to wear with skirts in the summer and fall. well, mine's looking good so far.
