281  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects / Re: come one! come all! post pics of your tattoos! on: January 19, 2006 08:26:41 PM
i am brand new to craftster, and i don't know which i feel weirder about - uploading pictures of my exposed body to the internet, or the fact that i just spent 30 minutes trying to take pictures of my exposed body for the internet. (there was a lot of bending, stertching, accidentally taking pictures of my butt, and time wasted examining my back fat in a high res format).

i'd still like an arm band but the older i get, the less daring i am. anyone know what i mean?

284  CANADA / Alberta / sewing machine up for grabs in edmonton on: January 14, 2006 10:31:38 AM
i've made another post about this, but i'm in edmonton and i have a brother ls2125 sewing machine  to get rid of. it's in need of a little TLC, a little maintenance (it feeds the thread in a kind of hiccup-y fasion) but it totally works. i can't use it as a trade in because it's missing a couple of accessories(the flat bed attachment). SO, if you're in edmonton and want to get your mitts on a free machine, you should let me know. i'd rather see it go to a real crafter than sit on a shelf at value village or something.

i'm about to upgrade my sewing machine ... i have a brother ls2125 that started acting a little wonky recently, and i'm just going to replace it instead of doing the maintenance - YES, i'm that lazy. the problem with is that it feeds the thread in this weird, hiccup- fashion - it works, it's just annoying.  it may just need some oil, or it may need a new part, i'm not sure. ANYWAY, i was going to just junk it or take it to value village, but i thought maybe somebody here would want it? i'm in canada, and if you're willing to pay the shipping. it's yours...OR if you have a really good sob story as to why you're so broke i should send it to you, it's yours.

but you have to promise to repay me with some kind of care package of stuff you made.
