2  hey guys...question about a pattern in Knitting: Discussion and Questions by guitar_girl02 on: January 20, 2006 06:40:53 AM
so ok i found this pattern online and i have a friend who it would be perfect for but i'm having a little confusion...here's the pattern and picture -

Make 2
Note: These wristlets are worked lengthwise.

Loosely cast on 30 stitches. Work even in garter stitch (knit every row) for 8" [20.5 cm]. Bind off.

Seam sides starting at top as follows: sew 1 inch [2.5 cm] or desired length to thumb position; leave approx 1 inch [4 cm] unsewn, then seam to bottom. Work in all ends.

picture -

the part that i'm confused about is...it just says work in garter stitch but what about the thumbhole? would that just be a button hole? help please. thanks  Huh
