Your stitching is awesome, but I'm in love with your lucky cat! Fabulous work!

Im throwing this out here so you are not as stupid as I was.

Long story short, I left a needle and floss lying on my kitchen table this weekend. The cat started playing with it, knocked it down and my dog ATE IT!

Horrible, I know. Thank God, it passed almost all the way through her system, but did end up piercing her colon and she had to spend the night and today at the animal hospital. Shes going to be just fine and were picking her up tonight.

She was very, very lucky. It could have caused some major damage to her system.

I just wanted to say, dont be as negligent as I was. This cost us a LOT of money, tons of heartache, and a nice dose of guilt on my part. I feel horrible about the whole thing, but am so happy that shes going to be ok.

I love the rice bowls, I think the chopsticks are great!

I'm almost finished with it, I'll post a pic once it's done!

(thanks for all the sweet compliments!)

Awww! Thanks everyone!

The font I used was from MS Paint (of all places. LOL), I'll look up the name of it later tonight.

I printed them out, cut out the words, threw them under the pillowcase, and then traced. Easy Peasy!

So, as my fiance` puts it, I'm going through my "sleepytime" phase, sort of like Picasso went through his blue phase. HAHA!

Anyway, it was time to pop my Crafster cherry and finally contribute to the forums that I've been stalking watching for years now. What better way to pop the cherry than to post in the Sublime Stitching forum???

Here is my first pillowcase (not my first Sublime Stitching project, just my first pillowcase)

And a close up of the compact...

(I don't know why there's a dog hair on it either. Weird)

Here's my work in progress...

Close up...

Thanks for looking and a huge thanks to Jenny for her awesome designs. I'm proud to say that I blogged about her last week and three of my readers went and bought patterns!!!
