You gals have made my day, seriously! Thanks for all the compliments.

Ok, I just took a picture to show off their size, it's next to a quarter.

72  You people and your tiny food...*Updated to show size!* in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by Mamaphunk on: June 25, 2007 07:25:13 AM
...finally got to me!!!

So Hobby Lobby had Fimo on sale and I had a 40% off coupon at Micheal's. DANGER!

Here's my first tiny food project, pie magnets!

I think they came out pretty good!

I made the whipped cream by forcing the clay through a tiny Wilton piping tip. I'm in LOVE with my pasta machine that I used my 40% off coupon on. I think it ended up being like $14 at Michael's, can't beat that!

73  5 Little Birds in a Little Tree in Needlework: Completed Projects by Mamaphunk on: June 15, 2007 07:35:51 AM
This is one of those projects that I did just because I felt like doing some embroidery. It's on a piece of fabric and has no real purpose just yet. I might sew it into something, I might not.  Grin

It's from the Clover patterns and I stitched it with DMC satin floss.

My pink bird got a little out of control and looks like she's been eating too much bird seed.  Grin

75  10 Million Compliments on an $8 shirt in Sublime Stitching Embroidery by Mamaphunk on: May 21, 2007 06:19:12 PM
Ok, maybe not 10 million, but it sure felt like it!!!

This is from the Tattoo Your Teatowels set!

The shirt was $8 from Target and it took me a few hours to do. It was all done in split stitch because I love that stitch.  Grin

Well these aren't made by me, they're made by my Mom but I wanted to show them off for her. I think she's so talented and makes just the sweetest cards!

77  I'm Overthinking This - Shipping Prices Help Needed in Selling Crafts on Etsy.com by Mamaphunk on: May 08, 2007 07:23:39 AM
Ok, I feel goofy even asking this question but I'm thinking about it too much!

So basically, my items ship for $2 but if they're shipped with another item it's $3.

Is that correct? Should I be doing shipping for $2 but with another item it's $1.50? Because I'm combining orders the shipping total should be less expensive?

Or is that $3 charge for all items?

My brain is all wonky thinking about this one, thanks in advance to anyone who can straighten me out!

78  South Park Embroidery in Needlework: Completed Projects by Mamaphunk on: December 17, 2006 08:25:29 PM
So, a while back Bananna_AnnA, did a super cool post with her Wendy and Stan embroidery.

I decided to use a South Park Avatar creater and make one that looked like one of my best friends.

I cannot wait to give it to her!

The blue you see around her mouth? That's marking pen I forgot to rinse off before I scanned this in! LOL
